"I have been going to hiro 88 for many years and it always provides a consistently good experience. The menu is extensive, which can sometimes mean that the quality of each dish suffers, but that is not the case here. Whether you are ordering rolls, small plates, or the deer entree, everything on the menu is delicious. While nothing will completely blow you away, the food is still great and on the pricier side. The fried rice and scallion pancakes are fantastic choices for kids - my child loves them both. The mai tai cocktail is excellent as well (without the lime garnish)."

"We made reservations here before the Cody Johnson concert, and it was a fantastic choice. The food and service were consistently excellent. The standout dish of the night was definitely the Sashimi Belly Trio—truly superior sushi and, without a doubt, the best three pieces of sashimi you can find in Lincoln. The Miso Sea Bass was also amazing—soft, succulent, and packed with umami flavors! Our server Johnny provided outstanding service as well."

"Especially very good food. But. The service was just terrible. We were there 30 minutes. Had ordered cocktails, apps and had our food for maybe 5 minutes when our waitress comes back to ask if we want a box? We deliberately said no and she went on to say our sum and ask if we pay with cash or card. I guess if you want the experience of a diner with very good Japanese food.... then this is your place."
