"I 've been going to The Icehouse for years. The service is always top-notch starting from the moment you walk in the door and are greeted with a friendly smile. The menu for food is extensive, even if they 're currently using a paper menu (for the 2020-2022 COVID-19 Pandemic . Plenty of choices, including vegetarian options. We especially love the Fire and Ice pickles for an appetizer. A little spicy for some, but with one of the most delicious ranch dressings I 've tasted! The burgers are thick and come with plenty of fries (if desired... You have a choice! . The BBQ is probably what makes so many people keep coming back. Brisket so tender and the flavor? Ooo-wee! They bring a six-pack of different hot sauces to whet YOUR appetite, as well. Sweet, sweet and spicy, just spicey, and more! The alcohol selection isn 't vast, as they only serve beer and wine. If that 's your desire, you 're in the right place because they DO have a wonderful selection. If liquor or mixed drinks are your thing, you may feel left out. HOWEVER! One of their specialties is a wine-a-rita . It 's like a margarita, but made with wine instead of tequila. Several different flavors, all of which I 've had taste AMAZING! I prefer both the mango and pineapple. A side note, I suppose it 's in the name, but really, the ICE they serve for drinks? It 's the tiny little pebbles. I love it! Whether in a soda, water, or that wine-a-rita I mentioned, the ice is perfect! Don 't change a thing! Travelling through Raton, The Icehouse is one of the must-stops.
