"I haven't tried Noodles Co often, but the overall experience I've had with this brand has been that if you don't know how to boil water and cook instant ramen and you don't like the grocery store brand prepared noodles, this might be for you. I say this without satire because the service provided in the restaurant is great, but regardless of which franchise it is, their food give off an unexpected vibe with excessive vinegar to lighten the meal.Usually when I'm craving noodles I want to be hit with something heavy and be on the teetering edge of a food coma. Lots of Italian restaurants here do exactly that with the added garlic bread and I love them for that. Noodles and Co however, is experimenting a different view. They're looking to make healthy noodles, which is a distinct juxtaposition from what they are expected to be. It's like the companies that make veggie straws, they market it to be organic and healthy, but the unfortunate fact is that both of them are equally unhealthy by their processed sources and their portions.I had the Buffalo Mac Cheese with a cup of unsweetened decaf Honest Tea and a rice krispie wedge. They seemed to lay off on the white vinegar this time around. The sliced breaded chicken was a good palate cleanser followed by tea to chase down. The sauce surprisingly was pretty spicy. It's not in your face spicy, but it'll make your nose runny. Eating the bowl of mac with chopsticks didn't feel weird until I was halfway in. It's strange to not see a macaroni salad from this brand, it'd be on point too, considering what they're pushing.I suppose if you wanted to get someone to stop eating noodles once and for all you could try bringing them to a noodles and Co ?"

"I have always been a major fan of Noodles and Company. I ate there multiple times a week during high school. I even had a few friends who worked there. These were the days when they offered the “Truffle Mac Cheese”. Those days won’t ever return, sadly.I ordered my usual recently, as it has been a while since I last ordered. My usual is a Small Size Pad Thai. Remove nuts and cilantro. Add spinach and mushroom. Parmesan Chicken. Rice Krispy for dessert.I recently ordered and was floored to discover you no longer can get a “small” sized entree. This is apparently part of a test program run by Noodles Corporate. Now, you can only get the “large/regular” sized entrees. There are many times I don’t want a giant bowl of noodles. The “small” size was always perfect and hit the spot. Now, you’re talking $15+ for Pad Thai with Parmesan Chicken. As I expected, quality and quantity has tanked. You get very little protein for the price paid.Anytime I add anything to my Pad Thai, it’s a joke. Two-Three pieces of mushroom is insulting for the up charge. Same situation with the spinach. They’ve also become very strict on the sauce. There isn’t even enough to properly coat the Pad Thai. It’s clear to me that prices have climbed and quality has taken a fall. The only positive is you earn points/rewards FAST on their app. Also, they haven’t ruined the rice Krispy.I will still visit from time to time, or order it for delivery. However, at $15+ before tax and delivery means I will be ordering here much less often.I’m hoping they become less stingy with ingredients. Give people a fair serving of protein and any add-ons they requested. I’m also hoping the “Small” size is brought back. Kid-friendliness: Quality kids menu. Atmosphere is casual enough for behaved children. Parking: Free Strip-Mall Parking, Can be tough getting a spot. Dietary restrictions: They will make your order how you’d like it. Inquire about any allergens."
