"After enjoying a long and fun 18 holes, we were unfortunately met with disappointment. My two friends and I bought three tall cans of White Claw to enjoy on the course—one for each of us. We took a break after the front nine and had a shot at the bar before starting the back nine. Once we finished, we headed back to the bar for a beer, but an older man and woman informed us that they couldn’t serve us, citing a law. (As someone who works for the state, I know that this law doesn’t apply to golf courses.) They flatly refused to serve us, despite the fact that we had each only had one drink from them. The situation felt discriminatory, rude, and frankly sexist. Meanwhile, there was a man inside who had been drinking hard mixed drinks for hours, which seemed to be just fine. Can you please clarify this for us, @Cherryisland?"
