"When we asked for our minestrone soup to be heated because it was served lukewarm, one of the owners visibly rolled his eyes and shook his head at us. I politely inquired if we had offended him in any way, and he responded with incredibly rude remarks. The situation escalated to the point where we felt we had to ask him to step away from our table for our own safety. Although the second owner attempted to rectify the situation, he mentioned that we had made her staff uncomfortable from the start. We are a group of attractive, smart, kind individuals who simply came out for dinner, and we left feeling upset and in tears. If it were possible to rate this establishment with zero stars, I would. I strongly advise against supporting a business that treats customers this way."

"The food isn’t “bad” but this lady can’t trusted. On more than one occasion she rung up my food overcharging me when I notice, she say oops correct it. I’m not talking about $1 or 2, but $5 plus. She like to get ppl on lunch because she knows they are in a hurry. She did the same to a co-worker I sent. So just pay attention.But the finale straw was when I stopped in after waiting for my food I watched this lady run outside to the customer in front of me who was already in their car EATING, grab their food bring it back inside trying to give it to me. I told her she must be crazy lol I was disgusted. Ma’am go to hell"

"We had our baby girls 1st birthday party here at Longos on Lakeshore. I have to say from the first call speaking to a young man named Sam who took my party reservations, giving me all the details lf my options for my party, being so kimd and patient with me and all of my questions, to the manager who called me the week before our party (I apologize I forgot her name) but she was absolutely a pleasure! And helped me out by telling me which way I would order would be the best for me financially and took my order. Today showing up early and Brittany our waitress was an absolute delight! She was on her game! She was kind, attentive and caring. She made sure our food came out quickly, and fresh! She came in often to check on us. We never had to wait for refills, we did not have to wait for her to come in to see if we needed more food, more drinks, plates and extra silverware for cake. When we did need to order a little bit more food, she was on top of it, it came out quick, and fresh again. My entire Party loved the food, the service, the atmosphere. The restaurant is clean. Everybody was so friendly. And honestly the last few years it’s really hard to get good service places. Longos did not disappoint. I will not only recommend this restaurant for dine in, but also for parties. Our gratuity was added into our check rightfully so but I honestly feel like Brittny deserves more money and should have given her more of a tip before we left. Our one year-old baby was screaming and crying so I’m definitely going to go back when Brittny is working and give her a little bit more because she definitely deserved it. She helped make , our babies first birthday party better than perfect and I am extremely grateful for that. Thank you Brittny, thank you to the managers, The cooks for making our wonderful, delicious food and everybody else who is involved in helping making this day. Perfect for not just my baby but my family as well. Vegetarian options: Longos has a wonderful vegan cheese, delicious marinara, and tons of veggies! Would love if they offered the garlic knots with either oil or vegan butter. Dietary restrictions: Vegan! ? Parking: Great for this location Kid-friendliness: What kid doesnt love pizza! And we are vegan and longos has tge best vegan pizza around!!!!"

"Starting w the driving egress entering off s western is a challenge risking damaging your vehicle suspension. as im disabled im alwaumys favorable to locations w good access which sorry to say but over 50ft ada parking to the door makes me shy away. upon entering its clean but not a hello welcome or hey where there are only 2 seated diners beside myself. eventually the cashier says hello, and shes pretty positive and cordial which was nice. so i place my basic 2 cheeseburger katsup olny w fries order. the order comes up w/in 5 min and thsts cool af although its the grill person who sorry to say has a zero enthusiasm dead inside persona who delivers the order(and shouldnt be responsible to. aside from my perky upbeat thank you, he wasntbreally enthusiased and im 100% he shouldnt be obligated. as far as the place,price q of product im like meh. being virtually empty only because the billys were in london(broke my/many heart losing this day) id say 50/50 overall"

"Yesterday was my first time eating here and it definitely won't be the last! I travel a lot, eat at a lot of places, try a lot of food and have to tell you that the food here was amazing, best of its kind and overall my favorite bite in the Fredericksburg area so far.I ordered the Patriot Burger it was every bit as good as any burger we've had anywhere and we've been everywhere! DELICIOUS! BEST we have had in a long long time.Burgers were juicy, flavorful with no fillers, toppings were fresh and everything seasoned perfectly and the buns were lightly toasted on the inside only, giving it a delicious soft outside then crispy interior before getting to the meat and veggies... amazing! Look beautiful as well! Almost too pretty to eat! I cannot overstate how pleased my wife I were with their burgers.Fries were seasoned perfectly and served at the perfect temp! Deliciously crispy on the outside perfect texture on the inside, not too thick or skinny, had a melt in your mouth feel to them.Their southwestern egg rolls are also a MUST TRY! You will not be disappointed with the hearty serving and amazing taste! My wife thought the southwestern sauce on them had a little kick she's not into spicy items but still gobbled them up. If you don't like spicy honestly not very spicy at all... just in case you are like my wife and like absolutely zero heat try the rolls with ranch instead. VERY GOOD either way.Service was prompt, friendly, personable and high quality. Really enjoyed interacting with them.We were surprised at the prices! The prices are low given the high quality and the prices of all other options in the area. About 1 3 the price but much better quality!As for asthetics... It's definitely a dive bar asathetic. We were there right at 5pm on a Monday and it was pretty quiet so I can't speak for normal crowds but It could use a little aesthetic refreshing. The place had a slight smell of cigarette smoke when we were there, not strong, could have even been from a nearby source not inside the restaurant. I'm pretty sensitive to cigarette smoke and could definitely detect it but it wasn't strong enough to bother me.Food is available for take out. Took about 12 15 minutes after we ordered to get our food, we used that time to visit a nearby antique shop. They've been there for 30 years, surprises me that I had never noticed it before. Now that I know about it, I'll be spreading the word and visiting with friends!"

"I'm not sure what has happened to Longo's lately. I've been dining in and ordering for pickup, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. I ordered a meatball calzone and a small sausage pizza. The best part of the pizza was that one slice had one and a half pieces of sausage, about the size of a marble. The calzone contained just five tiny meatballs. We usually enjoy dining at Longo’s Lakeshore on Fridays, and up until now, we've had good experiences. While the food is generally good, it is also quite pricey. I'm curious about the other location; both stores seem to be ridiculously expensive. It would be nice if they could at least put more toppings on the pizza or calzone—maybe a few more pieces of sausage or meatballs—or lower their prices. It's frustrating to receive less food for more money, just like many others do these days."

"Actually food was great! Hot, large portions good waiter! However I was with my mother who has dementia. She was trying to pay bill when I received a phone call that I had to take. I was standing in door way and waitress(not ours) came up to me and toldme air conditioner was on! Ok I get that but I was not able to safely go outside and leave my mother in the establishment. Shebecame very pushy. We had words and at 65 I was kicked out of a restaurant for the first time in my life! Yes that waitresswas a b??. She had absolutely no understanding of the circumstances. She came at me multiple times before we could get out door!I had planned on encouraging neighbors to go there for a great meal but that won?t happen now! "Food was OK but took 1hr to get and their sense of urgentcy during a rush was pathetic. Think take your order and forget you for an hour... for food that literally cooks in like a minute it's a crepe for Christ's sake. There were no line but still a mega waste of time. My wife and kiddo liked the food a bit more than me but all of us were frustrated with 1hr to get our food. It's overly fancy with way to much chocolate syrup ugggg.. I am a sugar junky and still couldn't get through this plate of hersey syrup.... I've not been back and not likely to go back as my time is more valuable than that. "This was one of many visits the through the years. One last summer and it was not great and pretty expensive. Today it was not that busy when we got there and it we were the last table to get our food. 50 minutes for eggs and pancakes. It was not hot and my gravy was cool and not the way you want your food. Highly disappointed and even more expensive than before. Will not ever be returning. They did comp the check after many excuses and our complaints. It was pretty clear that our meal was forgotten. As a business owner myself, I would’ve comped the check with no questions asked and a lot of apologies. At this point, I’m happy that I didn’t pay for my advertisement to go on your tables. My husband and I love to go out to eat and do not mind paying for good food and good service. This was neither. FYI I never ask for my check to be comped, but that’s how terrible this experience was!"

"This restaurant is fantastic! I will definitely return! I was inspired to visit after hearing three young men rave about how much they love the food here, and now I understand why. I loved it too! If you're a fan of onion rings, you absolutely have to try theirs—they're amazing! I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich along with a special Italian sub, and I even saved one for dinner later.
