"I find it hard to understand how this restaurant has received so many positive reviews. That's why we decided to give it a try, and I feel it's important to share an honest assessment for anyone searching for a place to eat in Hudson. I've never walked out of a restaurant without touching my meal before, but this was that disappointing. I ordered the vegetable fajitas, and what I received was a plate of extremely soggy frozen vegetables—carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, the kind you might buy in a cheap frozen mix—drenched in bland tomato sauce. My husband chose the chicken enchiladas, which featured tasteless shredded chicken wrapped in a tortilla and topped with a sauce that had no flavor at all, and the dish was barely warm. To be honest, the only things we could tolerate were the plain canned black beans and my toddler’s quesadilla (it’s pretty hard to mess up a quesadilla!). Although the service was friendly, it was also very slow. I know our expectations are likely higher since we've lived in California and the South and have traveled to actual Latin America, but the food here was subpar even for New England's Mexican standards. How can you serve Latin food without any seasoning or spice? And who makes vegetable fajitas with a bag of frozen sliced carrots and soggy vegetables drowned in tomato sauce?"
