"As for the food, it was decent overall. The yakimeshi (fried rice) was a highlight; it had a nice flavor, though for $8, it came in a bowl similar to that of a miso soup, so it wasn't very filling. The Las Vegas roll was underwhelming; it was supposed to include shrimp tempura, but as you can tell from the photo, there was hardly any shrimp, and at least two pieces had none at all. Priced at $12.50, it was similar to their more elaborate rolls.
Next, the sushi sampler was priced at $18, which I thought was reasonable for four pieces of sashimi and a basic roll of choice. The spicy tuna was okay, tasting more like tuna poke than the traditional spicy tuna I expected. Unfortunately, the sashimi was a bit disappointing—not as fresh as I would have liked. You can usually tell when fish isn't fresh by its smell, and I felt it had that fishy odor. I particularly did not enjoy the octopus, as it was quite rubbery.
Our waitress was nice and provided standard service—she was attentive and brought the bill promptly after we finished our meals. Although I probably won’t return, I’ve heard they offer lunch specials that might be worth checking out for someone else!"
