"I used to be a regular customer at this restaurant because I loved the taste and appreciated that it was halal. However, the staff here are not very understanding. Today's visit was very disappointing, and I have decided not to return. Despite their policy of not taking phone orders, I work at a gas station across the street and found it difficult to wait for my food during my break. My boss even warned me about taking too long to eat. I go to this restaurant almost every other day, so I am a familiar face. Today, I tried to order my food over the phone and pick it up after it was ready. The kind lady I spoke to on the phone agreed to this arrangement for my convenience. However, when I arrived to pick up my order after 22 minutes, the same lady told me that they had forgotten about my order. I was so disappointed and disgusted by this lack of care for a paying customer. Good luck to the restaurant."

"Would be one star but my husband had a great experience the first time he ordered. That first experience lead him to order again and this time it was WRONG! Tried to order a plain burger. It came with everything. Tried to order a root beer, got a Dr. Pepper. Don't know what my husband ordered but when he opened the container, it was wrong too. I ordered steak nachos which were Doritos with steak cheese lettuce and tomatoes. I think I'm the only one pleasantly surprised."

"Do Not get the Super Philly. There is nothing Super about it. It looks like ground beef with a lot of Mayo and lettuce mixed together . There’s not even enough meat. You can’t even see the onions , mushrooms or even bell peppers. I use to get this before it was way better in 2019. They are generous with the fries. Just do better."

"I ordered buffalo wings, but they came without buffalo sauce—just a watered-down version of mild sauce that tasted like ketchup. The wings were the smallest I’ve ever seen. The gyro was the worst I’ve ever had, and the fries were soggy. I ordered a gyro sandwich, but instead received a plate of gyro meat, which was nothing like what was shown in the picture or described on the menu. This was my first and definitely my last experience with this place. I spent $28 on what felt like garbage during a buy one get one free promotion on Friday, and I’m still hungry."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time last night and it did not disappoint! My brother recommended it because he had tried their wings. I ordered the chicken dinner, which came with rice, beans, and two sides. I chose the mac and cheese and plantains, and they were incredible! Additionally, the young woman at the front counter was really friendly. When I mentioned it was my first visit, she offered me samples of different dishes, so I also got to try the curry chicken. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and I will certainly return to try more items on the menu. Definitely a five-star experience!"

"This place is such a gem! Love that it’s black female-owned. The music and environment were lovely, perfect for single outings, friend outings, or a date night. We ordered tasty hookah, food, and drinks. The bartender/our waitress was very kind and helped us to find the perfect drinks. The slush drink with crown apple was delicious! The food was excellent as well. The lemon pepper chicken with ranch and the jerk chicken was very good! She also let us know about some of the events that are held there, like candle-making with drinks or a silent party. You can also host your events in the upstairs area which holds at least 30 people. How exciting! A birthday party or bachelor party would be perfect there."

"I’ve never experienced anything like it before—ordering from a restaurant and nearly crying from the deliciousness of the food. It was the most exquisite meal I’ve had in a long time. You can truly taste the passion in the cooking. I ordered the jerk pasta, and it brought me to tears because it reminded me so much of my world-traveling mother’s cooking, which I had not tasted since she passed away in 2015. Despite not being able to handle spice well (I can’t even finish a bag of Takis in one sitting), I found myself craving bite after bite of that amazing jerk pasta, taking breaks only to savor the experience. It was that exceptional. My boyfriend tried the chicken curry, and the meat just melted in our mouths—it was incredibly tender and juicy. This food rivals what you’d expect from a top-tier restaurant, but it comes from a small family-run establishment. Don’t let the location or the decor mislead you; this place is a hidden gem with wonderful food. I will definitely be recommending it to all my friends."
