"MUST try. We 've passed this pizzeria so many times because it 's in a small shopping center. We were so tired of all the pizza places out here so we decided to give them a try (I 'm a 1st generation Italian) We actually didn 't get the pizza because of all the different dishes looked so delicious, we had to try them I had a Sausage, Pepper, and Onions sub. (Oh, the good old days) Husband had a cheese steak sub. We loved them both. Extremely clean, excellent servers, wonderful cooks. Also, very attentive. The decore is awesome. You will see by the pictures. They also sell wine and they have some outdoor tables again, the server 's went out to the family there sooo many times. The atmosphere is very nice, the restaurant is bright, and comfortable. I don 't know why I 'm saying this but, the tables are very large and spacious. Ladies, You can actually get in and out of the Booth without having to scooching. (You know what I mean). I stood up and WALKED in and out without any scooching LOL The prices are equivalent to any other pizzeria but you will be happier to pay the prices here. DID I MENTION the sell pizza by the SLICE? I love that. I don 't want to get a whole pie for just 1 or 2 slices As an Italian, I say Try it, you 'll like it See the wonderful pictures SORRY, I always forget to take the WHOLE meal because I 'm too busy drooling over my order. Great LARGE side salad also"

"This is the perfect place if you want tasty Indian food but still feel like eating some pizza as well. Never thought about it?? But once you try it, it grows on you. I don't mix them together but you could, they do have Indian style pizza with tandoori chicken etc.. But I just like to eat one and then the other. I usually grab the pizza first. I've been eating their food for years and I think the food has changed for whatever reason. It used to be much better but it is still tasty. The pizzas have changed somewhat and are a bit more pricier than I remembered from last year. I haven't tried their burgers and fries. I enjoy the reasonably priced and tasty Indian food since the spices in the dishes are fair and it doesn't feel or taste too oily or greasy. My pet peeve about some Indian restaurants in L.A or in the US is that their food is just too oily..ugh. The different types of Biryanis and the Vindaloos are tasty especially if you are hungry. I make both dishes at home from scratch with fresh spices. I make my own Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani masala. As well as using Kashmiri Chilli peppers, and Bhut Jolokia Chilli peppers to make my own lamb vindaloo. I love intense spicy food! So, you can tell I really enjoy both these dishes. I enjoy their lamb vindaloo and their goat curry is tasty as well. But goat meat isn't my fave but my preferred way to eat goat meat is authentic earth bbq'd Hidalgo style birria. Their sag paneer is a bit fluffy? frothy?, I guess those are the words I can use to describe it. It's like the texture is too overly processed but the paneer is good and a little rubbery. It reminds me a little of Trader Joe's Indian food. Anyways, on to the pizza. I really like their supreme with mix of veggies and pepperoni but the pizzas are all very tasty. The dough is done well, soft and chewy with a crunch. I experiment with baking bread and naan at home and I do like their pizza crust and their dough. So there you have it! Check it out and let me know how you like it"

"Just a lousy, start the day off with a bad experience kind of place.I'm not sure why this is considered a D.C. institution and a hot tourist stop. The real reason I wanted to stop in is because I'm a fan of Parks and Recreation (Leslie has a bite to eat here with Madeline Albright in one scene), but I really wish I had taken a picture of the exterior and left. Long lines outside would suggest the food is really worth waiting for, but I suspect it has more to do with its proximity to Ford's Theatre and other touristy spots in the neighborhood. After a long wait, our party of 3 gets seated at the tiniest table in the middle of the room, even though there were bigger tables in the back that were empty. Even if they still needed to clean them, logic would suggest that 3 full grown men would need a tad more space to eat, especially since the waffles come on a separate plate. They definitely don't care, and just want to get people out of the doorway as fast as they can. The waiter/owner seemed annoyed that we were even there to begin with, and barely registered us as humans while rushing through our orders. Forget asking any kind of follow-up questions, like getting cream or sugar for your coffee. The food was incredibly mediocre. Maybe one step above edible. This place is renowned for their waffles, but they're gross. They were really too crunchy, have a burned after taste, and need to be drowned in syrup from a bottle that looks like it's been reused hundreds of times. The grilled cheese that one of us ordered was the saddest, most pathetic grilled cheese sandwiches in the entire universe, probably. Coffee tastes like it's been filtered through the original filter when they first opened.I can't say much about the ambience either. The place feels extremely dingy/dirty, and hopefully I didn't walk away with herpes from the unclean silverware. The less said about the bathroom, the better. Finally, I'm not entirely sure we didn't get screwed over on the bill. What they do is give you the slip they wrote everything down on initially, but you can't read a word of it. For what we ordered, it should have come to $45.00, but the bill was $59.00. I think they may have added an automatic tip? And if they do add automatic tips, they really need to let customers know that beforehand. We sure weren't told, or saw any signage mentioning it. I felt so bad about suggesting this place to my family members, that I paid the bill myself."
