"Okay so it is a good restaurant but the overall quality of the foods and experience do not worth the price. We have a sashimi deluxe, duck cold soba, one order of sea urchin nigiri, one lobster okonomiyaki, three skewers, one small warm sake and one bottle of asahi. 113 dollars excluding the tips. The best dishes would be the sashimi, the texture and taste just match the price, but the crab sticks in that sashimi deluxe is kind of ridiculous since you know, most of the crab sticks we can have are not made of crab meat? My friend and me both love their egg omelet, with dashi and perfect sweetness. Skewers are nice enough too, they?re definitely using the right soy sauce. Soba is just soba. But I have to mention that the urchins they used for the nigiri are terrible, though creamy, they tasted bitter. And the rice of the nigiri is too warm for a sushi, and the nori almost dominates the flavor of everything else in that sushi?it?s just unacceptable in such a Japanese cuisine. I guess the flour paste they use for the takoyaki and the lobster okonomiyaki is the same, which you can find all over the place at any restaurant that sells such things. They are using the lobster but it?s hard to taste it? I think people are supposed to have better dishes at such price. I expected Sugidama to be a more delicate restaurant but I?m wrong. I can?t feel much difference in their recipes or the design of dishes with other cheaper Japanese restaurant. Hopefully Sugidama will make some improvements. I?m considering to try their lunch menu since that seems more economical."

"One of the best Thai restaurants hands down! If you're looking for an authentic and delicious Thai dining experience, look no further than Kin Sushi Thai cuisine! This charming and inviting restaurant boasts a menu full of traditional Thai dishes that are expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The decor is classy and inviting, and the staff is attentive and eager to ensure that you have a great dining experience!! Let’s get to the main attraction here: the food. The menu at Kin Sushi, features a wide variety of classic Thai dishes, from spicy curries to savory stir-fries. Each dish is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and expertly spiced to perfection. One standout dish that I highly recommend is the Pad Thai and my most favorite, Kee Mao! The noodles are perfectly cooked and the sauce is sweet and tangy, with just the right amount of spice. The portions are generous, so you're sure to leave feeling satisfied. But don't stop at the Pad Thai and Kee Mao, there are so many other great dishes to try! The Tom Yum soup is another favorite of mine, with its bright and zesty flavors. And if you're a fan of spicy food, you won't be disappointed with the spicy basil chicken. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Thai dining experience. The food is top-notch, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant!"

"I ordered all nigiri; ika, toro, otoro and salmon fresh and for dessert, fresh local strawberries with San Marcos Farms Wild Flower Honey. I got lucky, I was a walk in and they had a table available which was perfect, downside it was in the second floor which I didn’t enjoy but the atmosphere in the first floor either outside or inside was amazing. I gave 5 stars to atmosphere because is not their fault I didn’t reserve ahead to get a great table. I definitely recommend the first floor to eat if you want to have a comfortable and open experience, unless you enjoy private kid of close upstairs. Food: ika was really good it was squid with mint and rice. It was an amazing experience I never had before with squid, only downside the squid was very thin for my taste. Toro or otoro, unfortunately they both came in the same plate and I was never able to confirm which one was which. But one of them was AMAZING, it dissolve in my tongue perfectly, the other had like a layer of tough sinew which was not enjoyable and very hard to chew. The salmon had the same tough sinew , was very thin and had for my taste a lil too much of wasabi in it. The strawberries were really good, I’m lactose intolerant and I have said it before in my reviews it was so nice to have a dairy free option in the menu for a change. The strawberries had honey and a mint, if you take a small bit of mint and then eat strawberry, WOW. It was my first time doing that and it was a perfect combination. I loved it. I gave a 4 stars to the food because of the thin layer in some of the nigiri and the tough sinew. Overall I recommend anyone to try it. Everyone’s tastes and experiences varies."
