"Famous Lao Papaya is absolutely wonderful! My boyfriend and I tried the Papaya Platter and Nam Khao, and every dish delivered on flavor, texture, and freshness. The sausages were incredibly tasty and juicy, while the papaya salad was a standout—authentic and spot on, making it my favorite. The chicken wings were perfectly cooked as well. I highly recommend the platter to sample a bit of everything they offer. The Nam Khao was also a highlight for me, featuring a delightful texture with a hint of citrus and refreshing herbs that made it incredibly addictive. We had more than enough food left over for just the two of us, and I left feeling very satisfied!
This place is clearly set up for takeout and delivery, as everything comes in compostable containers, but there are also plenty of seats for dining in. The restaurant is well-maintained, clean, and recently renovated. When we were ordering, the staff was extremely helpful, assisting us in choosing a spice level that suited our preferences. If spiciness is a concern for you (or a must-have!), don’t hesitate to let them know—they can adjust it to be as mild or as hot as you like.
The menu is concise, showing confidence in what they offer, and it’s very clearly labeled with photos, ingredients, and names, making it accessible for anyone new to Laotian cuisine. They also have add-on options if you'd like to include extra sausages in your dish. Plus, they sell frozen sausages and other items for you to prepare at home.
They accept both cash and credit, and the ordering process is really smooth. Parking in the plaza can get quite busy on weekends, but there’s usually street parking available on the outer perimeter. I encourage you to visit this place or order takeout—you won’t be disappointed!"
