"I prefer Taco Penalty, because Taco Corner has a much lower chance of resulting in a goal unless Trent is taking it and Virgil Van Dijk is on the end of it. This is a lovely tortoise shop... actually that's supposed to say Torta shop but my voice dictation really loves wild creatures... in the middle of nowhere when we're heading up to College Station. It's not far off the highway, just a little to the west of Katy, and so you can come out here and sample some supersecret hiddengem Mexican food anytime you want to. It's pretty much an undiscovered little slice of authentic Mexican out here at a gas station, so come and discover it for yourself."

"Nice parking area but down hill from there. Walked in and a completely outdated establishment. Once we got the menus and saw the conditions they were made me wonder if the menus are in decrepit state one can imagine condition of the kitchen along with what they serve to their customers. To make a long story short I hit it on the head of the nail. My wife ordered something called shrimp carnival for $35 I ordered steak burrito. My wife said that her meal had no taste. My burrito cost $15 served on a plastic basket were typically bread is served in restaurants( this was very budget) . The rice and black beans looked like they were mashed together and small amount of pieces grilled beef was mixed in. No lettuce, no tomatoes, No sour cream, no cheese and of course no taste. It was disgusting. The waitress noticed my disgust she offered to bring me some chipotle mayo. I told her I did not ordered a chipotle mayo burrito. Honestly folks it was the worst of the worst I have ever had in my life. She asked if we were going to take what we didn’t eat home my reply was “I love my dog too much”. People if a restaurant can provide their customers with decent looking menu please do yourself a favor and leave."

"For my first order, the quesabirria was just okay—I'd rate it a 6 out of 10—while the consomé was bland and watery. My second order, tacos al pastor, was unacceptable; there was hair in them, and I'd give them a 2 out of 10. They did remake my meal, but I was already put off by the hair I had found on my lime and in the tacos. To make things worse, the salsa came with chips from previous diners—they were clearly reusing the dips. There was only one other family in the restaurant besides us, which should have been a red flag. We thought it would be worth a try since it was our first visit. For my third order, I tried the menudo, which I would rate a 4 out of 10, but I also discovered a small hair in it. Overall, the best part of the meal was the can of soda I enjoyed before leaving."

"Absolutely fantastic! I just enjoyed a delicious lunch at the restaurant previously known as Chihuahuas. I’ve been passing by it weekly since it transformed into Guac N Cheese, still feeling a bit nostalgic about losing Chihuahuas, but this new place was wonderful. Guac N Cheese will definitely become a regular spot for my lunches. I ordered the #12 Lunch Special, and it was delightful—everything tasted incredibly fresh. Even though it was made to order, I was in and out in just thirty minutes. For only $9 (before tip), I got a full lunch with beans, rice, and a bowl of chips and salsa. Absolutely, I’ll be back! Everything is fresh, including the pico de gallo with onions, so if you have a business meeting or want to avoid onion breath, make sure to request it without the pico. I loved my meal and can’t wait to bring my wife to try the margaritas!"

"Delicious plates and authentic mexican cuisine, food served quickly. Complimentary Chips and salsa are brought out initially, the salsa is flavorful yet regular authentic style. I ordered the Valparaiso Plate, which came with crispy pieces of sirloin steak, spanish rice, beans, guacamole and flour tortillas (options: flour or corn tortilla). Only 1 flour tortilla was served with dish, which I requested 2 more tortillas to finish my delicious plate. Tortillas are served warm, with food. For appetizers, we order the Cheese con Queso, which was very tasty, and came with additional chips. My cousin ordered a Chimichanga plate, de carne asada, and was hot, delicious, and filling. The drinks are super delicious and all hand made, both the horchata and limonada lemonade are freshly squeezed and creamy, you know we had to order refills. (Pro tip: I would request EZ on the ice, or better yet, no ice, as they are very generous with the ice). Overall 5 Stars for tastiness and affordability."
