"Overall Thoughts: This is the only Georgian restaurant in Chicago and my first time trying Georgian food— it didn’t disappoint and made for an extremely hearty, filling meal albeit on the saltier side). Extra shout out to our super kind and awesome server!! The ambience inside is beautiful—both stately and homey. We came with a dinner reservation on Friday, but it wasn’t too crowded inside so walk ins are probably fine too. Prices were a bit high, but reasonable for the portions $42 pp with tax/tip). Food I tried: Pkhali: Kind of looked and tasted like colorful, non fried falafel without the chickpeas. These are made with various vegetables and walnuts for a robust umami flavor. They were very soft and creamy, and were quite hearty and delicious. Imeruli Khachapuri: Khachapuri is the national dish of Georgia; our server recommended this particular one as his favorite. It was essentially a bread stuffed with various cheeses, and tasted quite good and was very filling. It was really salty though, so I was pretty thirsty after this one. Mushroom Ojakhhuri: This is a vegetarian dish that our server recommended. The mushrooms were soft and flavorful, though the potatoes were a little too mushy for my liking. Was delicious overall though, with buttery and creamy textures. Khinkali: For reference, these soup filled dumplings are kind of like Chinese xiao long baos but with MUCH thicker skin and an all meat filling, so they’re a lot heavier and more filling. They were delicious— I really liked how doughy and chewy the skin was, and the soup and filling were flavorful. You can choose how many you want they’re $4 each). Stewed Feijoa Kompot drink: We also tried a bottle of stewed feijoa kompot drink, which our server told us is very popular and commonly drunk in Georgia. The flavor was pretty interesting—mildly sweet, flowery, and tart. — Price relative to peers): 4.2/5 Food: 4.3/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Overall Value: 4.5/5"

"I very rarely if ever take the time of day to write reviews but this experience was life changing like actually. I had the plate with a ground beef kabob and that delicious schwarma meat. Let me tell you something. eating that schwarma meat is so dang good itll make you have a flashback to your childhood like that scene with the reviewer from ratatouille. like fr it was THAT GOOD.On top of that you have a delicious ground beef kabob that was roasted over the grill so perfectly. on top of that you get a lot of delicious filler buttered rice that just compliments the whole dish perfectly and you get a huge portion. AND if that wasnt already enough, you get a nice wholesome salad all in one huge plate. Itll fill even the hungriest customers and feel like such a complete meal that youll find yourself like me cleaning the whole plate! everything has its place!I reserved my review because i wanted to give nami no; their competitor a try and ill be honest. its awesome too. BUT the meal wasnt as complete as the one youll get here at gyros and more. and the pricing is a couple bucks less for these huge plates thats practically the same over there but no salad. you get roasted chili peppers and a whole tomato which is okay but should be like here and default with that salad.Nami no is a 4.9 but gyros and more gets that little extra step ahead sitting at a SOLID 5 all day! From getting a complete meal, getting a chance to try that LIFE CHANGING SCHWARMA, or that price thats a little more on the reasonable side of things. These are the things that makes gyros and more THE GO TO spot for some GREAT FOOD. will return :"

"Walked in and was immediately greeted by a gentleman that gave me full confidence the food was going to be authentic. Accent thicker than cold peanut butter. He was very friendly albeit a bit difficult to understand. He took my order and disappeared to the back. A few minutes later a woman came to the register with my food bagged up, smiling from ear to ear. She seemed genuinely happy to be serving. Both of the staff I met seemed personable and inviting.Food was delicious! The pita was soft and fluffy, the meat was tender and THINLY sliced. The Greek salad was crunchy and flavourful! Glad I stopped by on this trip!At the register they have little chachkies for sale as well. By their marketing cards they seem to be made by a local small business. I went back AFTER getting my food and leaving at the request of my wife and bought my daughter 2 pairs of earrings. The ONLY detractor (and this is super nit picky) was a speaker that appeared to be attached via Bluetooth to someone's phone, undoubtedly used for ambiance when there's more people dining in. In this case however there was no music, but the phone kept getting notifications. ? It was a little jarring when it would go off, but not enough to make me think twice about going back for another gyro (or a pair of earrings)!Vegetarian options: The gentleman who took my order prompted me if I wanted the lunch special with vegetables or meat."
