"The inside doesn?t match the outside. From the outside, it looks like it could be an old school diner or old school steak house. While it?s history is shown from the outside, the inside shows a lot more modern and eloquent. Very nice place to eat. I?m told Warren Buffet has this place on or near the top of his list and maybe even as his #1 choice. There?s not a lot of high dollar commercial property near by, so the location feels a bit out of location, but that?s sometimeshow you can find the really good places to keep coming back to. For us, lunch was the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and beef stroganoff. We both very much enjoyed our meal. We also both got the loaded potato soup, and I would not hesitate torecommend you trying that as well. Was very good. Service was good, meals came out hot and were good. And for a place like this, if you come for lunch, you can have certain meals (like we did) as well as soup, and be under $20 (besidestip). They have a lot of things to try in a higher dollar category, but if you come for lunch, there are plenty of good meals you can get and spend no more than a chain steakhouse. I will definitely be back at some point to try some newstuff, and I expect I won?t be disappointed."

"This restaurant offers a unique and reasonably priced menu. I highly recommend trying the pho burrito. While their salsas are not flavorful, the complimentary hot sauces on each table are delicious. The outdoor seating on the back terrace is comfortable, and the location is convenient, near many businesses and events on the street year-round. Visit for lunch or a late evening drink for a relaxing dining experience."

"We felt embarrassed and treated as if we were unwelcome. It’s unfortunate, especially since we had a table for six and were ready to spend money. Instead, we left and won't be returning, and I will ensure my family hears about our experience. As a member of a reciprocal club, I can say that our guests from other clubs do not face such treatment. Again, the club itself is gorgeous, and the location is beautiful. However, a little courtesy and an effort to explain the rules instead of making us feel like intruders would have been much more appropriate. We were there as guests for a regatta, and while I understand that this may have disrupted some members, a simple and tactful explanation would have helped to create a more positive impression for the six of us. I want to add that despite our unpleasant experience at the restaurant, the commodore and the gas dock staff were fantastic and extremely helpful, which deserves recognition. For them, I would give 10 stars! Perhaps there is an opportunity for improvement in overall attitude throughout the club."

"While PaperMill may not be entirely vegan, their vegan offerings are top-notch – I find myself going for lunch multiple times a week. I prefer neat eating, so the burritos aren't my first choice. However, the bowls are exceptionally tasty. The ingredients are fresh or freshly pickled, with delicate and refined flavors like cilantro, Thai basil, carrots, and soy sauce. The tofu is flavorful and well-cooked, not bland or mushy. My only gripe is the non-vegan mayo, which can be easily removed by requesting it in the special instructions. In my experience, they are always accommodating and willing to remake a dish if needed. Overall, PaperMill offers fantastic, healthier vegan options compared to some fully vegan restaurants I've tried."
