I've tried tteokbokki elsewhere, but nothing compares to the tteokbokki at Yupdduk. Lately, I've been loving the rosé tteokbokki because it's creamy and the cheese on top adds a nice touch. It comes with sausages and fish cakes hidden in the sauce, and you can choose between mild and spicy spice levels. I went with mild and it still had a kick to it. The tteokbokki comes in small or large sizes, perfect for solo dining or sharing. The menu at Yupdduk is dedicated to different types of tteokbokki, but the standout for me has always been the classic version. The restaurant is cozy but can accommodate small groups, and the food comes out quickly. They source their rice cakes directly from Korea, so they may not all be completely inflated. The store offers free wifi and is kept comfortable with air conditioning or heating. Tips are preferred in cash, and the restaurant is conveniently located on Northern Blvd near other tasty dining options. Plenty of parking is available in the neighborhood and on the street, and there's also easy access via bus. Don't miss out on trying Yupdduk!"
