"Always a great meal! The food is fantastic. The chefs are qualified culinary flavors. If you don't like the meal, something is wrong with you. If Applebee's or Olive Garden Your regular places are, this place is not for you. Although you are welcome to learn what qualified chefs and bakers can do. Amazing. I had the Bonsanto(? I cannot remember the names very good beef short rib), simply melted in the mouth full of taste and a creamy risotto that fills your mouth like a warm blanket. A bite and you know you're in the right place. My fiancée had the special, fillet again mignon, amazing. A steak is over the oven. It was so delicate that you could cut it with a fork. Cooked for perfection with a unique sweet potato layer underneath. Always a great meal. With excellent knowledge and professional staff. Our waitress remembered the special thing about the highest detail and sold practically how it was prepared. Then there was desert. Again amazing. The cooks have won national prices and you can really say the difference in the bakery. I'm sorry, can't remember the name, but it was Pecan cake? See photo. That's how happiness tastes. The cakes are unlike anything in Rhode Island, very refined and elegant not a bashing of sugar and taste, but a wave of layers that inspire your taste buds as you eat the cake. A healthy portion safe, but still worth getting yourself. This cake you want to share. Well done, Sienna! Well done!"

"I finally got the chance to experience restaurant week and picked the best place to start The Capital Grille. The restaurant was beautiful, elegant and classic. In the historic Equitable Building, what was once a mighty bank vault is now the entrance to the private dinning rooms on the lower level. Just stunning, don 't forget to check it out. For starters we ordered the Clam Chowder and Green Salad w/ Parmesan vinaigrette. The clam chowder was soft, creamy and had a substantial amount of clam in each bite. Now, I 'm a fan of green salads but this had to be the best salad dressing I 've ever had. I loveeeee Parmesan cheese and the vinaigrette was exactly what I was hoping it would be. I ate every single bite of the salad and really could gone for more. We ordered a Blackberry Bourbon cocktail and an Old Fashion. The blackberry bourbon drink was delish, just the right blend to accompany the mouth watering steak. We ordered just about the same thing, the Bone In Dry Aged NY Strip 14oz, one with lobster, one with jumbo shrimp and both with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were just melt in your mouth creamy. It was such a great side to the steak. He ordered his steak medium and mine medium rare. When they arrived to the table his steak wasn 't cooked to his liking and the waiter Donavon noticed by the look on his face. Donavan asked him if he wanted to order another steak to his exact liking, he hesitated for a bit but then went with Donavon 's suggestion to eat the steak exactly the way you want it. Moments later Donavan returned with a steak cooked medium rare that was exactly how he wanted. Thank goodness Donavan asked him a couple of times because it was really worth the extra little wait. I genuinely appreciated Donavan 's attention to detail and vibe. Donavan was just a delight, exceptional service, fun and very helpful. His service was 10/10. Oh and just when we thought we were done, the desserts arrived. Hello chocolate cakes! First bite into the cake and I knew this was the right decision. The cake was served with raspberries on the side which allowed for a wonderful blend of sweetness from the cake and a bit of tartness from the raspberry. I really didn 't have enough space to finish the entire cake but I did my absolute best. I highly recommend this location we had a wonderful dining experience and can 't wait to comeback."

"This is a pretty easy 4 star restaurant. Service is very attentive, their food is above average, and the atmosphere is what many people come for. Parking is basically valet only, unless you park in the neighborhood and walk at least 1 block. I recommend reservations for any groups of 3 or more on most nights. For two, you can usually get seated sans reservations within 15 mins, if not immediately. On a recent visit, I came on a very busy evening and had limited seating options, even though I had reservations. It was either the rear of the back building (which was very loud) or the space between the buildings which is a high traffic area (which is chilly on cold nights even though they have a small fire pit against the back wall). It took a while for the food to arrive, so luckily servers brought out 2 plates of their regular bread/butter, and 1 plate of bruschetta. The bread/butter is good by itself, but the bruschetta with red bell peppers is even better. Since I was in a rush, I just ordered 1 soup and 2 entrees. Minestrone Soup pretty simple soup and its a fairly small portion. I didn't really think this soup was anything special. My least favorite item ordered. Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp If you like fettuccine, this is a pretty good version with 4 jumbo grilled shrimp. It is a lot of noodles though and basically a 2 dimensional dish. Chicken Parmesan great dish with a nice sized, freshly breaded chicken breast, delicious red sauce and melted white cheese. They bring out fresh Parmesan cheese as well. The perfectly cooked steamed veggies made this dish easily the best one that I ordered."

"Hello, I went today to the location for the first time. We got there and upon being greeted, we asked the server how they were doing and they stated “over worked and under paid”. We just laughed it off hoping she was just having a bad day. We than asked about the mimosas and they stated they only had enough for 2 pours but asked if we still wanted to do bottomless, which we said no of course because it wasn’t going to be bottomless. It took 40min for us to get our food even though there were only 4 parties of 2 or less there and a person who got there after us received their food before us. We had ordered the stuffed French toast and the LG. The server informed us after we had ordered that there was not any pre made cream cheese however, they did have regular cream cheese so they could use that if I was ok with it, which I was. However, she came out 5 minutes before the food came and told us that they actually had no cream cheese and I would just be getting plain French toast with fruit and bacon. I didn’t want to wait any longer so I went along with it. She brought out literally just French toast and bacon. We asked where the fruit was and it took her another 10min to bring the fruit out. During this we found that the “green tomatoes” were actually red tomatoes and they had gone bad, they were clearly lumpy and white. The whole experience was awful.
