"**Atmosphere:** The restaurant felt cramped and uncomfortable, as if it were over capacity. The seating was exceedingly tight, making it hard to relax, and the air was stuffy and difficult to breathe. To top it off, there was no music playing, which seemed odd given the crowd.
**Service:** I understand that we visited on a busy Saturday with a larger party, and that many restaurants are facing labor shortages. However, the wait time was outrageous. We waited about 75 minutes for our food, and when one dish was prepared incorrectly, it took an additional 40 minutes to rectify. Our total dining experience lasted nearly 2.5 hours. While the waitstaff were friendly, the slow service was frustrating.
**Food:** I’m usually willing to overlook other issues if the food is good, but Thai Eatery fell short in this regard. The food lacked any distinct Thai flavors (such as Thai basil) that you would expect from a quality establishment, and the portions were surprisingly small. When our food arrived, a member of our table exclaimed, “This is the smallest Panang Curry I’ve ever seen!” which led to laughter all around. I ordered the Massaman Curry, and took note of the absurdly tiny portion compared to the prices.
**Overall:** This review may be lengthy, but the message is clear: tiny portions, high prices, poor service, and an uncomfortable environment. I would rate my experience a generous 1/5. Thai Eatery has significant room for improvement.
