"I frequent this location. The food is excellent all the employees are friendly! The managers are also exceptional. This night I had tried to make a reservation on the website for a specific time but there was a glitch I received a notification for a different time. When I called, one of the hosts answered wasn’t sure why that happened but said the time I needed was booked. He offered to have me speak with the manager but I decided not to push it. A few minutes later, the manager called back saying that she knows that I am a regular customer got me in for a reservation at the time I needed. Now THAT is great customer service!"

"Food was pretty good, the Ahi Poke was great, but the chicken on the salad had too much smoke which overwhelmed the salad itself and the short rib tacos ended up greasier than I had hoped. The mojito's were meh, they didn't bother to muddle the mint making them a bit off. The ambiance was pretty cool, more of a bar theme than a restaurant theme though with mostly high top tables. Entree's averaged about so not a bad value"

"Little establishment, that’s definitely one of a kind. The service was quick, parking was interesting. Unfortunately the meal feels a little flat. My chicken was done all the way thru, juicy but a bit salty and having the hot honey on the side made it more edible. I enjoyed the dark meat the best but the white meat had better texture. Mac and cheese didn’t taste very Gouda to me but more so fully melted pimento vibes. The beans were good and I hoped they would be a bit thicker. My husband said they were spicy. He also said although the corn side was tasty it had a heat that made him question if he would finish or wait to eat cold. The collards were a great veggie to have on such a heavy plate but it felt like it was missing something. Although the experience was an experience, I think one time is enough.Parking: 20 spots at most"

"The chicken is crispy, juicy, and flavorful. Just a heads up—if you go for the spicy options, their heat levels are spot on. If you order "hot," be prepared for some heat. If you choose "damn hot" or "what the cluck," expect serious spice! I ordered the small white plate with medium heat, along with mac and cheese and coleslaw. It was really fresh and tasty. The coleslaw wasn’t overly mayo-heavy or soggy, and the medium flavor had a nice kick. For takeout, I got the large white plate with "damn hot" chicken, mac and cheese, and fries. I mistakenly thought "damn hot" would be more like "hot," but it was actually SUPER spicy!! Their mac and cheese is delicious, and the fries are well-seasoned too. The young man at the register was very polite and professional. I’ll likely return!"
