"I had a great dining experience with friendly service at this restaurant. The place was clean and spacious with plenty of seating options. The drinks were delicious and the prices were reasonable compared to similar establishments. I would visit again. I deducted one star because my sandwich had mayonnaise on it despite my request for no mayonnaise. However, they quickly fixed the mistake and were very nice about it. Overall, I give this restaurant a four-star rating, but I rarely give a five-star rating for fast food."

"POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was picking up an order for DoorDash here and the lady up front completely ignored me after she one: showed a man?s food and bagged a man?s food (which should have checked the food after cooking it) then answered the phone that was on hold for 3 min (when she was bagging she put them on hold) and was on the phone for a good 5 min. This is while the person food that I was picking up the DoorDash was wide open on the hot plate while others was closed. There was another lady their that I asked for help but said the other lady can help me when she was not doing anything(I was watching her the whole time while I was standing there)"

"Overall not great felt the experience was tainted by the rude staff who didn't even attend to us. The person who seemed to be the owner was nice but was a bystander. We had never been to a tea place so we just walked up but RESERVATIONS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! in the most condescending manner repeated several times at the end of our time together. If they couldn't attend to us they could've just said no we cannot attend to you I'm sorry and we would've just left but instead we thought it was an okay experience but at the end we're just getting side eyed by someone who didn't even help us. I would understand if we were rude or ordered 20 things but we just had a pot of tea, cake, and some cucumber sandwiches and we even sat outside with no one around. I can't understand how that was okay I was being reprimanded like a child, when she only talked to us once then left us in the care of her boss, but then her boss let her just keep going at it as she rung me up. Honestly makes me just think we weren't their target demographic since everyone inside was older and yt and we were young BIPOC, the environment inside was also cold and professional almost, just wanted a nice tea time. As for the food chocolate cake tasted like dark chocolate frosting, the tea was alright, egg sandwich cute not my favorite thing though, and the cucumber sandwiches were good. Overall though the price and the experience left much to be desired.If you still choose to go:MAKE A RESERVATION!!!!!Expect to be there a WHILEChoose the outside seating quite lovely.Overall I hope the environment changes just wasn't an experience I want to invite my friends or family to as my whole family loves to have tea together in the mornings."

"UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT Me and my family ate here on 9/9/2022 we ordered the Catfish dinner and a 2 item Combo with fried chicken and shrimp. Both meals came with fries. The Catfish was delicious and seasoned well. The fried chicken and shrimp was crispy and seasoned, the fries were cooked well a little greasy but delicious. I would go back again and refer my friends. New management and new taste. NO I was not paid for the review or offered anymore chicken. Although I am open to the free chicken???"

"I can't say anything positive about my experience at this restaurant. The service was awful; they charged me $11.00 for just six small bites, and the fries were overcooked and dark. The manager was rude, and I left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry. It was a complete waste of both money and time. The customer service was poor, and to top it off, the menu outside was outdated. They charge high prices inside for tiny portions, which feels like false advertising. I also had to pull aside and wait an extra ten minutes for my child's meal, with no accommodations offered. I will definitely not be returning to this place."

"My experience at this restaurant was absolutely dreadful. The management and staff clearly need to be replaced. There were numerous issues with the dining experience that are hard to put into words. To start, the food was of extremely poor quality - some pieces of chicken were old and slimy, while others were undercooked, and the ribs were dry and old. The potatoes were stale and the mushrooms were as hard as rocks. Every dish lacked flavor and was poorly seasoned, including the cole slaw. It took a ridiculously long two hours to receive our order, as the staff seemed inexperienced and overwhelmed with the number of orders. This was a far cry from the usual enjoyable experience I have had at Chicken Shack, and I have no plans to return to this location in the future."

"First and last time at this location. I ordered over the phone BBQ wing ding combo, catfish combo, and rib and wing combo. I requested all flats, but the person said they can't do all flats. I said, ok, well how about more flats than drums, he said he still couldn't do it. I said no big deal. I then requested extra butter on the potatoes. He then tells me my order would be ready in 25 minutes. I get there in 15 minutes, my order is ready. At this point, I am impressed. I live 7 minutes away. Got home, immediately went to eat, my food is at room temperature. On top of my food being room temperature, the BBQ sauce is on the wings like someone poured ketchup on fries, and they gave me damn near all drums, and looked like no butter on the potatoes. I had to warm all my food up in the microwave, and the wings were way overcooke. Like if I got there early, I would think the food would be piping hot. I believe they gave me an order that someone never picked up. So yeah, first and last time at this location."

"my favorite thing to be the mushrooms. everything has changed today when they have served me absolutely the worst mushrooms at all! as they can see from the picture, they are not coated, cooked or prepared anywhere near edible. the sign says to make sure they all have their things before they go what I did. but I didn't think that meant to make sure that my articles were actually cooked! if that wasn't enough, the ribs were a bit overcooked. the chicken was ok, but a piece was cooked without coating or skin. the cole Slav was a bit bland this time. the roared kartoffels are the only thing that really came out as expected. if it is so that after all the dampening over the opening through the pandemic, I would have to say that I have to spend my hard earned money with a device that takes care of the customer."

"I have currently been waiting 45 min for chicken wings and I’ve watched the cook as well as the lady at the counter(who said I only work here to take the orders) leave the store. Cook came back and said he was shopping next door. It’s sad because the wings were not even fried fresh which is whats advertised. I also ordered fish which was made in about 7 min but I was expected to just take it cold and hard because the cook felt the need to “get fresh next door.” When will we do better for the people who patronize in the neighborhood that keeps your lights on, rent paid ,and salaries paid for the bad rude customer service we receive. This is not the first time. I gave this a pass 3 times prior thinking it was just those staff members. So obviously when you say you are working to fix these issues the evidence ,based on this experience and others prior is lacking. There are never any managers or owners here. You put these businesses in our neighborhood receive profits but put forth no effort in running the business properly or putting back into the neighborhoods which help you feed your families. The workers don’t care because the owners must not. They would be here or put the right people in place to ensure these issues would have been fixed like the response I read to another review. But when your only in it for the money and we the people continue to except this lack luster behavior and treatment this is the continued result. Imagine how much more you could make with quality workers who cared about the business as much as the owners should. From one business owner to another and I manage and consult for multiple franchises around the city. YOU MUST DO BETTER!"

"Did someone mention Chicken Shack? I didn’t, but usually it’s a great place. Unfortunately, the roasted chopped potatoes weren’t cooked as they usually are, and the onion rings were a bit too thick. On the bright side, the chicken was fantastic, and my husband really enjoyed his ribs. However, his dinner roll was completely squished when the server closed the box. Overall, it was a good meal."
