"We were the first customers to dine in the restaurant this morning. The food was delicious! We ordered the chicken and waffles and the banana nut pancakes. The pancakes were also delicious but not as pretty looking as the waffle dish (hence the missing photo). The coffee is self-served in the back (we were given a coffee mug minus those instructions, but we figured it out). There's no half and half or Splenda available (for those of you who like either), and the coffee was pretty standard grade, i.e., nothing to make a special trip for. The food, however, I would come back for. The chicken was tender throughout and the waffles were not over-the-top sweet but sweet enough to provide a contrast with the not overly salted breading on the chicken. Great texture on the waffles too! The roasted potatoes and veggies that came along with it were also cooked well and tasted great! Pancakes were incredibly moist and had great texture! If you're looking for a place with wait staff that will answer questions about what the restaurant faves are, etc., you may not get it. We asked the cashier today what she'd recommend and she did not have any suggestions to offer. I suggest reading the reviews, looking at uploaded photos, and coming with a game plan. We'd come back again for the food (5-star rating is for the food we had today)."
