"Let’s start with the positive. We dined on a beautiful Spring evening and sat on the deck. The sun was lowering and the setting was great. Our server was friendly and seemed to be very busy, running from indoors to outdoors and table to table. He told us that he was on his second shift of the day, as his replacement had not shown up for work. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and did not sample any of their specialty cocktails, though they were very tempting. The menu was interesting and we found several choices that looked good. I finally settled upon a ribeye steak, specifically and emphatically ordered rare to medium rare and a mahi-mahi entree special for my companion, ordered with the request to be sure and not over-cook. (We neither like our proteins over-cooked. . I ordered one of the half salads with the addition of shrimp on which my companion planned to nibble while I consumed the salad. We then had a considerable wait before my salad was served...without the shrimp. Again, long wait. The shrimp were served along with an apology, and over-cooked and just above room temperature. And at the same time as the entree. The waiter offered to take them off the bill, which they did. Again, the positive...the flavor of the meals was very good. The seasoning was balanced and complementary for both entrees. But the were both over cooked. My ribeye was medium to medium well, and the mahi-mahi was cooked to the verge of dryness. We chose to not send either back because they were edible with good flavor, but what would have otherwise earned at least another star for food, alas, disappointed. My recommendation is that if you have not tried Level 2, go ahead! If you are into cocktails, they looked great. And I think that the food could be very good as well. For our visit, they obviously and admittedly were having some personnel problems, but most restaurants these days have the issue of reliable help. People who were there were great."
