"I first ate here several years ago and had fond memories of sitting on the outside deck. When I returned for dinner this time there were very few patrons, which was nice there was no wait. Al pastor street tacos were as good as I remembered, and I like their preparation style of using small chunks of pineapple. One of the daily specials was crispy beef tacos they were just ok and I wasn't overly impressed with the flavor, menu said they included avocado but it didn't. The beans were lightly seasoned and just tasted like pinto. Service was fast and food came out quickly. I'd consider returning again but likely just stick with al pastor. Tip: there's very limited street parking but the QFC parking garage is within reasonable walking distance."

"Waitress was very nice, but very slow. None of the other employees checked on any of the tables despite seeming to have plenty of time to do so. Diner at another table waited for their server and eventually had to get up and flag someone down in order to get a spoon. We had nachos with pulled pork and a brisket banh mi. Everything was cooked nicely. However the meat really lacked in seasoning. The pork was very tender, but the only flavor was a slight vinegar taste. I re-heated the leftovers in a skillet and just adding some kosher salt made a huge improvement in the flavor. The brisket was in a sandwich, so not the same as eating it by itself. But, if it's the same they use in their other dishes, I would say it also needs seasoning. Didn't seem like any rub was used on it at all. The banh mi was well assembled with good bread and ingredients. Nachos needed some jalapeños. I like the indoor/outdoor vibe and would be open to going back just because of that."

"What happened? We came to Funks specifically for the pig-talloins dinner. We’ve raved about this incredible meal to everyone, only to find out that the menu has changed. The pork options have too! We’re very disappointed. While we enjoyed the atmosphere and our server was wonderful, we only purchased gift cards to come for this dish. Please don’t fix what isn’t broken!"

"Unique menu and fun atmosphere. Servers wear superhero costumes. The only issue we had was that all of our food did not come out at the same time for our table of 8. Most everyone else was finished eating before the last dish came. It was avocado toast which should be fairly simple but the server told us that they have to pull someone off the line to assemble it. That was a very poor excuse and one that did not help explain why we did not have our food. If they have to pull a special person to assemble toast then they have some sort of process issue in their kitchen. Other than that, the food was very tasty."

"A group of 11 stopped into Firewater for dinner while travelling to Sturgis. Firewater was walking distance from our hotel. Unfortunately, Firewater closes really early on a Friday night (9pm). Our group was easily seated in the lounge. During our visit karaoke was featured in the lounge. Fun free entertainment. Firewater offers a full bar. Firewater offers Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm. Firewater charges $5 to split/share a plate and $1 for take-out orders. My wife sipped on a couple double Jameson and Coke's for $9 each while I sipped on a couple Line 39 Chardonnay for $8 a glass. We shared the Pig Balls (qty 6) for $9.95: pulled pork, cream cheese, pepper Jack cheese and jalapenos. Battered and deep fried. Delish! Our main meal was the Two Meat Combo for $13.99. Our meat choices were Italian Sausage and Pulled Pork. Our side choices were Baked Beans and a Side Salad. Our least favorite item ended up being the Italian Sausage. The rest of our food was delish. Our server was friendly and efficient."

"We made a reservation at this restaurant about a week in advance. When we arrived at the scheduled time, we found a sign on the door indicating that they were closed due to equipment issues. I couldn't believe that no one had called to inform us of this! We then spent an hour driving around the Breckenridge/Frisco area looking for another restaurant that could accommodate our party of four, but to no avail. Eventually, I managed to reach someone at Myla Rose, who insisted four times that the staff had contacted all reservations to notify them of the closure. I kept reminding her that I had not received any call! I am utterly frustrated with this experience."

"Tonya David have hit the mark among alcoholics and wine snobs. It 's amazing how the majority of these reviews are raving about the wine and pimento cheese when it 's billed as a tapas bar. Does anyone that comes here even know what tapas is? Guess not. And anyone that knows what tapas is, knows the French weren 't involved. Only one reviewer River , told it like it REALLY is and saved me the trouble, time and money of visiting. Yeah, I didn 't actually visit and here I am giving a 1 star review, crazy right? But look at all those other reviews where the women rave about the wine selection read alcoholic , the delicious pimento cheese and yet even though they said they enjoyed it, they only gave 4 stars...heifers. In closing, go to a REAL tapas bar and give this colonizer a pass."
