"The food at this restaurant is ridiculously expensive for the portion size. Even my toddler wasn't full after eating here. It feels like robbery! I have dined at high-end vegan restaurants where I spent $20 on a much larger pizza. The calzone was also a disappointment as my boyfriend described it as looking "ghetto" and like it had the soul taken out of it. It's a complete rip-off and I will never eat here again. Avoid this place unless you enjoy wasting your money."

"Food: 4 Location/atmosphere: 5 Staff/ customer service: 5 Timeliness: 5 Price: 4 Beer: 5 Overall: 5 I went with some friends to grab a beer and fell in love with this place! Food I got a burger which was really good and had all the topping. We also got fried avocado which was unique and fun! Overall food wasn't out of this world but was still really good! Location I LOVED the vibe of this place! As someone who is from SoCal, I loved the beach seats and the outdoor seating. This is very unique in Sacramento because I know no other places like this. Customer service The bartenders and servers were very nice and made sure to take care of us in a quick and timely fashion! Beer The beer was FREAKING AMAZING!! I had a Kulch which tasted like a blonde ale and then had a red ale that was also rich and very smooth! I wanted to keep drinking but I was driving home that night so I had to stop. But I love this place and recommend everyone to try it if you are in Sac!"

"Wow! Our search has finally come to an end. We've discovered the BEST cheeseburgers in the tri-state area! I tried the Make Your Own burger, and it was fantastic. The bun was fresh and incredibly soft. The smash burger was juicy, bursting with flavor, and perfectly seasoned, with those crispy edges being the highlight. I also had a Vanilla Shake, sans alcohol. It was thick, rich, and wonderfully creamy and cold. Everyone in the house loved it! We will definitely return!"

"Location isn’t everything! While this Sparky's is a bit off the beaten path and the parking lot is quite small, those are the only negative points I can mention. The pizza here is fantastic and very reasonably priced! My go-to choice is the Midtown Classic, which comes loaded with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms. They have an impressive menu as well, and their breadsticks are outstanding! The decor inside is quirky yet welcoming, and they seem to consistently hire young staff who excel in customer service. If you're looking for a truly local and affordable dining option, skip the more popular pizza spots and make your way to Sparky's. It's definitely worth the trip!"

"I've sampled most of the soups here, and they've all been fantastic! However, the clam chowder is my favorite—it’s much more flavorful than your average New England clam chowder. The mushroom soup was also delicious! I always pair my soup with either the Urs or the grilled cheese for some fantastic dipping. Overall, I would give it a perfect 10/10!"
