"Don’t let the outside fool you! It probably wouldn’t stand out for you initially but the inside is a nice diner. The burger was fresh juicy, the chicken strip pita was huge with lots of chicken and the chili cheese fries were all great! The cup of chili was just okay. Mary was our server and very kind personable which only added to our first time experience! The owner even stopped by our table to check up on our food. He’s doing great things bringing coney to our route. Will definitely make it a regular thing!! (All the food was so good, it was inhaled before I could even snap a picture)"

"My 80yr old neighbor and I went last Friday. It was raining so it wasn't busy. Service was excellent. He got his usual fried fish platter. It was large portions. I had the cheese burger and fries. Burger was juicy and the fries were hot and crispy. The owner was moving around checking on everyone. All in all it was a good meal and everyone was happy."

"Although our server approached us almost immediately, we waited over 15 minutes for our drinks on a slow day—despite having to complain to get them. My bacon was nearly raw, and the rest of my meal was lukewarm. I ate it anyway after such a long wait. We weren't checked on until we were nearly finished, and again, we had to wait a long time for a drink refill. I quickly gulped down my drink and left, unable to hold back tears from the overall terrible experience as my husband stayed behind to finish and pay while I went shopping. It's taken me nearly a month to gather my thoughts and write this, as I needed time to vent without using expletives. To make matters worse, another customer scolded me for mentioning that the server seemed more interested in chatting than serving. We will definitely not be returning!"

"Like many places in Homestead this is a quaint little diner with seating at the counter, a couple booths and a few tables. This is the kind of place you order from the specials board and everyone knows your name. This is my first time here and I came forbreakfast. the server spoke both English, and Spanish, was professional, and also was willing to chat a little which was nice.The food was good, kind of what you would expect from a small place like this. I came out spending $20 for French toastscrambled eggs with cheese, two sausage links and of course a café con leche."

With a price range of $10–20 per person, the meal was reasonably affordable. The food quality was average, earning a rating of 3 out of 5. The same goes for the service and atmosphere; both were satisfactory but not outstanding. If you're looking for something to try, I recommend the B L T Club. While the experience wasn't spectacular, it's a solid option for a casual dining night."

"We arrived at the restaurant around 5:45pm and it was moderately busy. We placed our order about 10-15 minutes after arriving. The special that day was Mexican Monday, so I ordered shrimp fajitas while my husband ordered a BLT. Unfortunately, we waited just under an hour before checking on our food. The waitress informed us that it may be another 10 minutes. Additionally, we were seated right next to the salad bar which had flies all over it. Unable to tolerate the long wait and the presence of flies, we decided to leave before our food was served. It was disappointing as we used to enjoy dining at this restaurant."

"This was from from Jacquelin Holloway who wrote this review on the Hillsboro Country Club Page and it needed to be shared with Lakeside Bar and Grill! Thank you Jacquelin! On Saturday, my husband and I had our reception at the country club. This place goes above and beyond. One thing that definitely amazed us was the manager, Shelly. What an amazing woman! She goes out of her way to make sure that her customers are happy. And the two ladies that were bartending were incredible as well. We received compliments all night on the venue we picked. Everything was perfect on one of the most important days of our lives. I would recommend this place to ANYONE. The outdoor patio is definitely an added bonus and went over very well for all of our guest. And let me tell you, there are so many photo ops with the location, overlooking the lake with a gorgeous view out back. We literally couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. If you are ever contemplating giving this place a try, it is highly recommended. We will be regulars for the rest of our lives after our experience here. It's a shame I'm only allowed to rate this with five stars."

"I have ate at tony's probably a hundred times and it was always good until the last time. The food was burnt so we sen't it back and they put raw french fries on my wife's plate then the fry cook came out and started yelling and screaming at my wife saying you will pay for this then before I could even say anything he turned around and said I will call the cops we where trying to eat at that time but I got up and paid left my steak sandwich with to bites out of it on the table the cook then threw box's at me and told me to take the food I told him to swipe my card then he said how about ten dollars I said no charge me for everything was so insulted to think he was thinking we where going to leave without paying. My wife and myself maybe the most honest people to ever set foot in that place. the fry cook is the owners son or nephew not sure but if you go there I guess you better just shut up and eat it! or a drunk fry cook might attack! Never in my life have I been so insulted by anyone ever! And I won't be back But he did charge me ten dollars and the next day his aunt reversed all charges and apologized that is prof in it's self. so if you are in the area do yourself a favor go to rustic inn next door!!!!!!!!!!! AND no I did not take the food we wen't to McDonald's and sorry to say it was a big improvement at least none of the employees were drunk and the food was edible after all that is all we asked for!!!!!!!!!!!"

"They will put you into a food coma!! We called and were told there wasn’t a waitlist, and within the 15 minute drive they got one again but we sat at the bar. This place is busy on a Sunday! Waitstaff was great, food came out in a good amount of a time and was delicious, decently priced for the portions. The cinnamon bun with bacon bits was a surprise and good. I wouldn’t try to eat it by yourself! Rosie’s certainly is a can’t miss. Service: Dine in"

"Prices have gone way up while portion sizes on broiled fish and many of the other items have dropped substantially. Very disappointing as this used to be such a great community staple but with “shrinkflation” in place, it’s not economically affordable for the average sized family in Jamestown. I live out of state now so when I come home to visit family, we usually go to Davidson’s. Based on my last experience, it’s looking like we will be going to other local staples unfortunately."

"We are from out of town and had heard great reviews from some of the other people in the area, so we stopped in. They did not disappoint!!! The variety of food is impressive!! The gentleman who was our server was very friendly and shared things to do in the area. Unfortunately, my engine light came on as we were nearing the restaurant, so I called the auto shop in town and they said i could run over and they’d scan it, so I ducked out before the food came intending to return (leaving my family there). They said the gentleman was still super nice and when I didn’t return for a while (ordering parts), they packed my food to go. The even more impressive part we were unaware that they closed from 2 4 and we walked in at 1:58. They were so gracious about allowing us to stay we kept saying we could come back, but they encouraged us to stay. My family agreed the food was wonderful fresh and hot. Even though I had to eat mine after we got back to the campground, the food was still delicious. Can’t recommend this place highly enough I wish we lived closer; we’d be here all the time!"

"My husband and a friend stopped by tonight to get food for 8 people. We all ordered something different. Every single item was delicious! From the soup, ribs, to the fish and even the kids tenders. We would definitely order take out again. Based off food alone they would get 5 stars, but customer service is important. The men were not pleased with the younger woman behind the bar when they wanted to get drinks while waiting for the food. She was rude, unprofessional and unpleasant. "You list 4 customers today because you were short of staff. We came in last night for dinner and you they had 1 cook and 1 waitress. It was busy. It took us 1 1/2 to get our meal. They ran out of mashed potatoes and 12 oz sirloin steaks. They had 1 waitress running between the bar the restaraunt and the outside bar wit karaoke. The waitress that helped us was great. She apologized more than a couple times. Today we went in the bar was busy and didn't get any help. Walked into the bar and I guess the bartender was doing it all today. I went into the bar 2 times to get some service to even get acknowledged. The second to,E I stood there the gentleman was so busy making jokes and laughing with the guys at the bar he didn't want to help me. He was filling up a beer mug and was waiting for the head of the bear to settle and he said. This is what I love about my job. Started laughing .. Looked at me and turned his back. When he turned around I asked him if we could please get some help in the dining room. He said I will be with you in about 5 minutes I am busy in here and I am doing it all. He just wanted to help the guys at the bar. So we walked out. We will absolutely be staying in the rv park but WE WILL NEVER SER FOOT IN THE SALOON OR RESTAURANT! You need to fire that guy at the bar. Even the,people at the bar thought he was wrong not to even me acknowledge me the first time."
