"Before I start I 'm just going to say this place is amazing! You can stop there if you want, just go and enjoy, otherwise, let 's just proceed. Atmosphere is your typical festive Mexican environment so nothing bad there. Service: Everyone is super friendly. Hostess was ultra nice and upon sitting the server hit me with an Hola and tbh, I don 't think anyone has done that to me at a Mexican restaurant around here. I was presented with the chips and salsa and when I came back from there was also a container of Guacamole puree with some heat and spices in a bottle. I sampled it and wow! So good! I ate half of the the bottle with my chips and tortillas throughout the meal. I ordered my go to, the choripollo. Rice and beans were on point. Exactly how they should be. Moist and flavorful rice and beans had a great flavor and wasn 't flat at all. Chicken had a great marinade and of course being covered with the perfectly seasoned chorizo and cheese sauce. They aren 't relying in the sauce ontop to flavor the chicken like others do. Amazing flavor and couldn 't be happier 5/5 all day, everyday! Even though this is my second Mexican restaurant in High point I hage visited to review I will be HARD PRESSED to go elsewhere in HP so I can keep reviewing. I 'm literally writing this review while eating at a Mexican restaurant in Clemmons eating ok food (review coming) and finding myself closing my eyes and wishing I was back at San Luis eating."

"The restaurant was quite warm during my visit. It could really benefit from some fans to improve air circulation, especially in the summer months. For dinner, I spent around $10–20 per person. The food and service were excellent, both rated at 5 out of 5. However, the atmosphere left much to be desired, earning just a 1 out of 5."

"Absolutely delicious! The food was bursting with flavor. I do wish there were more options featuring carnitas, but when my husband requested carnitas in his burrito, they happily accommodated him. We recently moved to Loveland from California and are on the hunt for our new favorite Mexican restaurant. This is only our second visit, but I have a strong feeling we'll be returning soon!"

"our second visit in queso, tonight, on Saturday. our last visit (a few months ago) was best rated moderate. now for our visit today. first the positive: the margarita was good! the ambiente was alive! now for the possibilities of improvement: the food quality was worse than the last visit; at the same time, dried rice and acid salsa were. the service was less than acceptable; no follow from our waitress. the ordered fresh Haveero sauce had to remind again (similar to the last visit) to finally get it. music: expects Mexican or Spanish music, but the live music was country. not only that the music was extremely loud, had to demand to be moved far away, and the singing was not of acceptable quality seemed simply to be poor overall, the visit was a catastrophe. After we have experienced it twice and both of them were less than acceptable, we will no longer plan to visit this place."

"We decided to check out the restaurant under its new management, but unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The music was excessively loud, making it hard to think straight. The service was slow, and the takeout menus were so small that you’d need a magnifying glass to read them when dining in. Additionally, the menu items didn’t align with what was posted on their social media, and there were discrepancies between what we ordered and what we received, including missing items. To top it all off, the food lacked any flavor at all. As for vegetarian options, there were none available on the menu."

"When I got that, it was for me and the woman. this time I brought the family, we in the service of yuri was excellent from beginning to end. the satish were clean and well maintained. the highlight were the fresh salsa and maistortilla chips that were refilled free of charge. guacamole was bright and fantastic. the molcajete was mine; spicy, still sizzling and not disappointed about taste. tierra del mar was the woman; they enjoyed it so much that she said she thought she ate over. not too spicy and worth the price. quesadilla texana was memaw’s; she said that it was so good that she could eat it for days and had enough left that she probably wants. not too spicy and only the right balance of protein and veggies. my oldest girl had the taco dinner hard mais tortillas, with the side of the bon and rice. She tried to eat all three, but stopped before she was overcrowded. she loved it, not very sharp at all. Overall, everything was excellent and although not authentic, as some suspect that it was close as my family in virginia will have. I love this place."

"My family and I have been eating at Don Garcia’s ever since I was a kid and has always just been one of the most amazing and most friendly person I’ve ever met in my entire life. He always makes sure to provide amazing service with a smile and make sure what he’s putting out in front of you is the absolute 100% that they can give! "If you are blind or handicapped in any way, this is not the place to go. The food is ok, but the service is no longer what it used to be and they can not deal with someone who is blind and who are in wheelchairs. This starts with a blind person still getting used to where their food and drink are and a glass gets tipped. The waiter refused to clean it up. Service was bad with the waiter and had to wait 15 to 20 minutes after flagging him down to get refills on our drinks. Let me also add that our waiter was told and acknowledged we were heading into the bathroom, and they clear the table. The waiter yelled at the blind person and complained that the floor was complained by other customers about, but had he cleaned it up when the spill occurred, it wouldn 't have gotten complaints. With a wheel chair, there aren 't ramps so it is difficult to jump 3 to 5 inch curbs. There is no marked handicap ramp. This continues in the building where chairs block doors and a restroom that is impossible to enter with a wheelchair. Windows are cracked, so negotiating the two entry doors are very difficult with a wheel chair. Then, when talking with the manager, he really doesn 't care you are just one customer. The manager was told by the waiter we left, but yet he knew we were going to the restroom. The manager basically said if you don 't like the place, then don 't come back. As such, I will NOT EVER come back to a place where the waiters and waitresses can yell at handicapped people who try their best, and all they can do is blame and treat the handicapped poorly for their own staff 's shortcomings. I suggest you don 't go here either."

"Lively Mexican restaurant with a beautiful interior and ok food. Place was crowded, and it took an entire basket and a half of chips and salsa before our food arrived. Food was ok. We had the quesobirria and seafood fajitas. I've ordered the seafood fajitas before and they were delicious, but this time, they weren't cooked as well. It felt like the veggies weren't given enough time and the immitation crab meat was left in large chunks and as a result weren't seasoned all the way through. Quesobirria was seasoned well!"

"We had the tacos carnitas, and the birria tacos, with a pitcher of house margaritas. Simply put, the food was incredible! Fresh, perfectly cooked, with a beautiful blend of savory, aromatic, and spicey seasonings. The birria au jus was fresh and flavorful, with hefty chunks of meat still in it. All the sauces salsas were also very fresh and flavorful. The pitcher of house margarita came with pomegranate, blackberries, and mamgo slices, woth fresh squeezed lime juice in it. We were skeptical about a house tequila, but this pitcher of margs was delicious! The table service was excellent as well. When we wanted a special tequila for a shooter, the bartender came to the table and talked with us about his in house favorites, and then gave us a 1:1 review of each bottle back at the bar. Hands down the best Mexican food I 've had in North Carolina! My only complaint... the floors could have been cleaner. But that 's the only fault I see in this place. Will DEFINITELY be back!!"

"The service and ambiance here was excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and Royal Red Shrimp to share with salads, sauteed garlic mushrooms and baked potato. There were baskets of a variety of breads and two kinds of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a beautiful dining experience!"

"I love this place. This weekend a surprise birthday party for my wife took place in her private room. The management was very easy to work and the waiting staff was very nice. Had over 20 in my party and everyone loved the food. She tried Paella and a Mojito for the first time and she shaved about how good it was. The portions were enough for the really hungry person or eat and take home. Overall a great experience and a place I would definitely recommend for some good foods. We are already talking about visiting their Mount Dora location."

"This is, without a doubt, our favorite restaurant in Oxford right now. The food is not only delicious but the service is exceptional, and we always feel like part of a family when we visit. You can really sense that they genuinely care about their customers. The atmosphere also looked fantastic before they closed. I don't think it’s fair to judge the restaurant based on poorly taken photos on OxfordToYou, since they are an independent entity, not associated with the restaurant. We will continue to dine and order from them, and we hope they are here for a long time to come."
