"Upon entering the restaurant, we were charmed by the area around the hostess station. Unfortunately, as we were led to our table, our impression quickly shifted; the surroundings seemed outdated and uninviting. The noise level was overwhelming, with nearby tables contributing to an atmosphere that was far from romantic. I couldn't tell if it was due to the loud music prompting everyone to raise their voices, but it certainly detracted from our Valentine's celebration.
My steak was decent but not exceptional. My husband ordered the shrimp and lobster risotto, which was disappointing—the lobster was overcooked and dry, although the shrimp was passable. Our side of mashed potatoes tasted as if they were made from instant flakes rather than freshly mashed potatoes. Even if that wasn't the case, they were bland and unsatisfying.
As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I was disappointed to find limited dessert options available for me. In hindsight, I really wish we had opted to stay home. Our meal would likely have been better, and we wouldn’t have had to practically shout to communicate with each other.
Regrettably, we will never return to this restaurant, and we deeply regret choosing it for our important evening."
