"It was not at all clear just what dining experience I made a reservation for. I knew there were several different options at Pier A, but the reservation process did not make it clear just what the reservation was for. As it turned out our reservation was for a small, but nice looking white table cloth room on the second floor, where the only option was a fixed price Valentines Dinner (this was 2/13). Not at all what we wanted. When we declined that reservation, we were shown to Harrison 's Bar also on the second floor. A very nice room, but almost empty. It featured unusual cocktails and a small bar menu. Still not what we had in mind. Finally we made it to the first floor and the Long Bar, just what we were looking for for oysters, wine, etc. Neither of the latter two venues needed or, to my knowledge, took reservations. We ultimately had a good experience, but it took a while to find it."
