"I ordered sesame chicken with vegetable fried rice and a chicken egg roll, and the only thing that was good was the egg roll. The chicken did not look like it did in the photos - it was long and disgusting, and tasted like I was chewing on a rat or cat, or maybe both. The rice did not have any vegetables in it, only egg, even though I paid extra to upgrade my rice. When I got home and saw that my order was incorrect, I was disappointed. I also did not enjoy the sauce on the sesame chicken. Overall, I do not recommend this place if you are looking for good Chinese food."

"I tried this restaurant for the first time on Monday, 9/11, and was extremely impressed with the food and service. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had in Columbus. I decided to return again today, 9/15. The wonton soup for two was excellent, as were the egg rolls, spring rolls, and crab Rangoons. Our entrees were delicious as well, with the sweet and sour sauce and homemade duck sauce standing out. This will definitely be my new go-to Chinese restaurant. The service was top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was great. I highly recommend trying the small egg drop soup, crab Rangoon, egg roll, and sweet and sour chicken fried rice. The price per person is reasonable, around $20-$30. The parking is ample, with a free parking lot available."

"Regarding the dishes, the shumai was decent in shape and served warm, but a bit dry on the inside. The flavor was acceptable, though it lacked that burst of juicy porkiness. It’s fine for a quick bite. The shrimp dumplings also fell short, lacking a strong shrimp flavor and missing the tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture we hoped for. The standout dish for me was the pan-fried dumplings filled with garlic chives, pork, and shrimp. They were served piping hot and had a delightful crispiness, with a wonderful balance of savory meat and sweet garlic chives. Overall, considering it's in the suburbs of Ohio, the experience wasn’t bad. However, if you're expecting something reminiscent of Chinatown or areas like Shanghai or Guangzhou, it’s best to temper your expectations. I would definitely drive 15 minutes to come back again."

"I ordered the General Tso's Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein. The General Tso's Chicken was of very poor quality. While it was labeled as chicken, I struggled to find any actual meat. The uniformity of the chunks made me suspicious; they seemed more like formed pieces of ground chicken rather than actual chicken fillets. Although the batter and sauce were tasty, which is why I'm giving it a 2-star rating, the inside of the chicken was gray, fatty, and lacking in meat. The Lo Mein also had very little chicken and was quite greasy. I rarely write negative reviews as I don't want to harm a hardworking small business, but I felt misled by this restaurant. If they improve their quality, I would happily order again and share my positive experience. I regret having to write this review."

"If you enjoy meat with a texture reminiscent of wet felt, this place might be for you. The lo mein was both bland and dry, while the egg roll was overly greasy. The potstickers had a spongy, foam-like texture and were lacking in flavor. The Mongolian beef had great taste, but again, it had that wet felt texture and was served in a very small portion. I requested a substitution of broccoli instead of onion, but I received only about six small pieces of broccoli despite paying an extra $2.75. The rice was plain, lacking even a hint of salt, though it was cooked properly. Overall, I won’t be ordering from here again."

"So, we were loyal customers of Zollen for years, and we were really nervous about trying it under new ownership. That being said, my husband and I decided to give it a shot tonight. I ordered the chicken meat, and it tasted just like I remembered! I’m so happy! My husband ordered only sweet and sour chicken, which came with some unexpected vegetables—a great addition. However, it would have been nice if the chicken had been served with a side instead of being a bit soggy on its own. Overall, we enjoyed the food!"

"Szechuan Taste is outstanding! My family has been on the lookout for a fantastic Chinese takeout spot in south Fort Myers, and we’re so excited to have discovered this gem. We tried the egg drop soup, egg rolls, pork fried rice, moo goo gai pan, sweet and sour chicken, and beef with broccoli. Everything was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. We were impressed by the quality of the meat and the variety of vegetables used. The portion sizes were generous for the price, which meant we had leftovers to enjoy later. Some members of our group have food allergies, and we truly appreciated the owner’s attentiveness in ensuring our meals were safe and free from any allergens."
