"This was our second date night here and we truly enjoyed our dining experience. We used our Dining Out Atlanta Passbook. It was a Friday night, so it was busy but not crowded. The small patio seating was full and people waited at the bar for carry out. The hostess was friendly and seated us quickly. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Our appetizer and meals came out very quickly and the food was hot. I had the shrimp and grits, which was plated differently fromwhat I?ve experienced at other places. But it was hands down one of the best shrimp and grits dishes that I?ve had!!! The dish was seasoned well, with a little spice in the grits?very enjoyable!! My husband also enjoyed his fish and chips,the calamari appetizer was delicious! My drink was strong and not overly sweet, which is how I like it. Great experience?.we?ll definitely return."

"What a rotten way to treat customers! Made reservations for 7/3 on OpenTable app two weeks prior. Great app! Got several texts and emails confirming the reservation from both Mangiamo's and OpenTable. A romantic date planned with the wife. An hour before the reservation, I got a call from Mangiamo saying they don't work with OpenTable and can't honor the reservation. ?!?!? If they don't work with OpenTable, how did they know I had a reservation? And how did they cancel it, since I received a cancellation email after the call? Obviously, plans ruined and I suspect Mangiamo's was somehow overbooked and screwed us over. Boo!"

"When we first looked at the menu, we thought the prices were quite high, but I was willing to overlook that if the food was good. However, when the meals arrived, I knew I would never eat here again. The beer was warm, the drinks were watery and unpleasant, and the chicken wings were the worst I've ever had—old, small, and tough. My friend ordered a churrasco, which was ridiculously small, while my sea bass was disappointing—lackluster in flavor and a tiny portion accompanied by overcooked, paper-thin asparagus. My wife chose a shrimp wrap that was bland and runny. Even the salads were subpar. This restaurant looked inviting from the road, and we made the mistake of trying it out. I definitely do not recommend it; it was a terrible experience."

"I had the pleasure of attending the Mother's Day brunch at Mariscos, and it was an unforgettable experience. I was very impressed by how they designed their delightful menu with a Mexican brunch theme. The star dishes were the chilaquiles, tacos, and breakfast platters, all served in generous portions. "I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."

"On a Sunday evening, the restaurant was quite empty. We arrived around 7 PM, and there was only one other table with diners. Another couple came in while we were there. As for the food, I would give it 2.5 stars—the bolognese was overly sweet, making it nearly inedible, and the Alfredo was drenched in sauce. The service was adequate, earning a rating of 3 stars; nothing exceptional, but it was enough for our needs."

"Not only do they make sure to make you feel like you are on vacation when you are there, they do it graciously and with a smile. I've never had anything I didn't like at the Raven. And to do so while looking out over the water ... wonderful! You can choose a dining experience that is casual or even a little more romantic, or head over to the bar and feel like your one the regulars while taking in a game on one of several easily viewed TVs. All that and they offer high-level live music on the weekends. This place may quickly become one of your favorites."

"We visited this area from out of town. We have friends and family in the area and this is one of the places we went to eat. In particular the barbecue place inside. First we waited for 30 minutes to get our food which is totally unsat. The pulled chicken was not pulled chicken it was cutup chicken breast with some barbecue sauce drizzled over it. We also ordered the brisket, my god the worst I have ever had. This place should be shut down. One star is being generous. One word for this place: DISGUSTING!!!!! Owner got offended about this review. If you read it carefully it is about one place not the entire place. As I said above this is the barbecue stand, not anyone else."

"I recently spoke with Kelly Hunter, the HR Administrator, about being double charged at the Carolina Ale House White Oak location. Unfortunately, she was rude and dismissive during our conversation. She mentioned that this issue occurs frequently, which is concerning. It seemed like she wasn't worried at all that their vendor, BB&T Merchant Services, is unintentionally taking money from customers. It's frustrating to feel penalized for supporting your restaurant."

"Our party of four dined on the terrace, as each couple had brought a dog and we wanted to enjoy the sunset over the harbor. We were seated next to a gas fire pit, and the staff had also set up a propane tank heating system for our comfort. We ordered a variety of delicious cocktails and a selection of dishes from the happy hour menu, all of which were well-prepared and tasty. Our waitress, Erandi, was incredibly attentive, patient, and kind, while the hostess, Arianna, was also very helpful. When we left at 7 PM, we noticed the dining room and bar were bustling with a lively crowd, making it clear that Rabe Tavern is a popular spot among locals. I highly recommend this restaurant, both for its inviting interior and outdoor options, as well as its excellent happy hour deals!"
