"We decided to try the vegan enchiladas that had been recommended by others at this restaurant. When my husband ordered them, he asked the waiter to confirm that they were indeed vegan. The waiter seemed confused by the term "vegan," which led to some confusion. Despite my husband pointing out on the menu that it clearly stated the dish was vegan and all the ingredients were plant-based, the waiter still seemed uncertain and ended up bringing us a "vegan" quesadilla instead, which was essentially just vegetables in a tortilla. It was not very appetizing and was challenging to eat. We also did not enjoy the vegan burrito, as it contained broccoli and carrots, which we did not particularly like in a burrito. However, we did appreciate that the beans and rice were vegan, as some places use non-vegan ingredients like lard."
