"I had a fantastic experience at Luce. The atmosphere was great, the customer service was excellent, and they had a wide variety of wines and a decent selection of beer. The cocktails I tried were delicious as well. My only issue was that the prices were a bit high. For example, I ordered a halibut special with rice and vegetables for almost $40, which seemed expensive considering I could buy multiple pounds of halibut for the same price. Despite this, I would still recommend Luce to anyone and have already done so multiple times in the past week."

"We wanted to have brunch before seeing Rent at the National Theater. Avenue Grill was very convenient. They had a wonderful variety of foods, all well prepared. I got to enjoy a bagel and lox, grits to which I added cheese, charcuterie, a very well prepared omelet with a nice variety of fillings, and some breakfast pastries. It was nice that juice and coffee were included. Only problems, even though it was not listed on the omelet ingredients, they had cheddar cheese which should have been included on the ingredient list. And the website said if we showed our tickets to the National Theater, we would get a discount. The waitress said they are not doing that this year, so it should be removed from the website. Overall, an enjoyable meal."

"I had the $6 Thursday mai tai drink and the fish and chips as did my friend. The cod was perfectly cooked and delicious and I usually don't like french fries but these were seasoned just right and I loved them. Prices were reasonable and the service was quick and friendly. You can't beat the view. Our table was right on the water. I will return there!"

"Had to ask the Bar tender after waiting by the hostess stand if it was “sit ourselves” we were busting standing around with about families and a couple. The drinks were good but the food was absolutely low tier, spent about on sub par after-hour room service quality food. We ordered the calamari for an App which was microwaved at best and half of it was so soggy for being so called “fried”, I was excited to see that they had Steak wraps , but that balloon popped when it arrived; the meat was still raw I asked for Med-Rare yet I couldn’t even rip the Steak when I bit it so I tried using a fork and knife and still to no avail, ended up taking a L on the steak Wrap and having half of my friends pulled pork which at least had warmth to it in like my steak Wrap whose veggies in it were scarce and wet with little to no flavor, it did come with Sweet potato fries but they’re still wasting away in the fridge, the SW Egg rolls were the only part of this meal that was enjoyable though little to no prep goes into them. Danielle was great though! that’s what really got stars for the overall rating. I don’t suggest anyone other than people who like throwing money away or possibly if u wanna pay for over priced pizza spend an evening here dinning."

"We stayed at Captain Hirams and came here for Sunday morning breakfast. The service was horrible. The waitress wasn’t pleasant at all. Didn’t ask if we needed anything or give us any attention. She looked completely miserable… There isn’t a kids menu. So we had limited options for the children. My husband and I ordered the shrimp and grits. It was disgusting. No taste and the shrimp still had their shells on them? Who serves shrimp and grits soup style with shells still on the shrimp? It was impossible to eat. Bread was dry with no butter. When asked waitress brought us completely hard butter from the refrigerator. Kids scramble eggs were very well done. As in brown and hard. The atmosphere is nice but we would never come back. It was pricey for breakfast and the food definitely wasn’t great"
