"The fun didn't end there; the walls (and even the ceiling in some areas) were adorned with historic license plates and vintage advertising signs, creating a really cool atmosphere with plenty to look at while we waited for our food. We ordered a beer on tap (they had an impressive selection, including several local microbrews, not just those from Phoenix) and a Diet Coke. For our meals, my husband chose the veggie flatbread, while I went for the "Phish and Chips" (all the dishes had cute names!). Additionally, we found an advertisement for local businesses that mentioned the Raceway Bar and Grill had been featured on American Pickers, one of my favorite TV shows from Iowa, where I grew up.
As for the food, it was delicious and served in generous portions. We even indulged in a cheesecake for dessert, which was one of the best I've ever had! The restaurant had a charming, old-fashioned pastry case showcasing their pastries. Overall, it had a very cozy and fun vibe. There was even a patio that would be perfect for cooler weather. We will definitely be returning!"
