"For my husband’s birthday today, we decided to go to Mr. Ed’s, a place we usually love. The staff was plentiful, and there was no wait for a table. However, for nearly $70 (one appetizer, two dinners, and two iced teas), the fried food was overcooked, and the steamed mixed vegetables looked like they came straight from a frozen bag with no flavor. We ordered fries but received potato salad instead. When we ordered the seafood platter, we weren’t informed they were out of oysters. I told the waiter three times to hold the parsley, yet every dish came covered in it. We really enjoy this restaurant, so it was disappointing that this special night for my husband’s birthday didn’t go as well as expected. I hope they can improve."
