"Luck-e-star was my first ever job (and one of my favorite jobs) I’m going to start off by saying these reviews regarding the homeless are very false and these people go by a Facebook post. The owner of this restaurant is one of the most caring and humble people that I have ever worked for. He puts his customers and employees health and safety first. i was involved in a situation and the owner was right there and ensured my safety and well being every step of the way. This homeless man was provided a warm place to stay and given coffee for HOURS for 2 days straight and then began panhandling elderly IN the restaurant. I’ve been to restaurants in the city and Brooklyn that wouldn’t even let someone who is homeless walk through their doors. How would you feel when you are trying to enjoy your meal and someone comes up to you and starts panhandling?Take it from somebody who has worked here for multiple years and has had personal experiences, this is a great restaurant and a wonderful place to take your family to have a meal. The food is out of this world and is as close as you will get to a nice home cooked meal compared to other restaurants. Don’t let other reviews take over your opinions. I 100/10 recommend."
