"I had paid in cash to avoid a 4% surcharge for card payments, which I had to inquire about since it’s becoming common practice at restaurants, but that wasn’t my main concern. I chose the Tex-Mex plate without checking the price, as I've been visiting this place as a treat for years. I did notice that the tea was listed at $2.50 on the menu, but they charged me $3.00. The plate cost $14.50, which was surprising.
The portion wasn't overly large or extravagant, and while the food was good, it wasn’t exceptional. It definitely didn’t justify a $14.50 price tag. It’s disappointing because I won’t be returning; I felt taken advantage of. I'm concerned that the menus haven’t been updated, or perhaps they just decided to charge more thinking they could get away with it. So just a heads up for anyone expecting the old prices!"
