"This restaurant has the best margarita I've ever tasted and a fantastic atmosphere. The food and drinks were delicious, with a wide selection of tequila and margaritas. The portions were generous and the service was excellent - our waiter was friendly, checked on us regularly, and split our bill without any hassle. We were seated quickly, despite the busy restaurant, and our food arrived promptly. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting San Diego - I would definitely return. While the prices are a bit on the higher side for Mexican food, it is completely worth it."

"Walked out the door looking for adventure! Galavanting down the Gaslamp.. I was struck by the presence and vibe of what could only be described as Gandalf’s Spanish Villa getaway. Tucked between both the shire and the urban chaos of the new generation of Tik Tokers and pretend dancers. Truth be told, in a world full of fake music and fake dancers, there is only authenticity here. It’s the kind of truth you wish you knew about your childhood that you have chose to repress. The cocktails here are both herbal medicine and spiritual healing (if you have more than 3 it’s sexual healing). Who needs a reset when you can come here for a quick hit of a better life. It’s the refresher every troubled soul needs."

"This was a disappointing experience from a place I had looked forward to visiting. I would suggest avoiding the nachos entirely; if you must try something, maybe go for the quesadilla, but I can’t recommend this place overall. I honestly feel like I wasted my money. EDIT: I’m downgrading this review to one star because the owner was extremely unprofessional and rude. The food was terrible, and so was the service. Thank goodness I’m a “super lovely person”!"

"The food here is fantastic, but the service leaves much to be desired. While the staff is responsive to your inquiries, the prices don't always match those listed on the menu. They apply additional fees for takeout orders on top of the food prices for each dish. There are also card processing fees for both debit and credit payments. Additionally, they don't provide itemized receipts and only give you a verbal quote for your total, so it's wise to ask about the price before placing your order. However, the food is definitely a highlight, particularly the grilled chicken with cheese and the Jalisco plate!"
