"We had not had sushi in Philly in awhile and we were not impressed, kinda average. The food was good, don't get me wrong. However the roll I had ordered used cucumber as the wrapping (nori). But it was good ?I guess I missed that detail ?We were offered to sit anywhere and one of our guests picked by the door (which was open BTW). So many times vehicles and buses were nosey going by (along with the music inside was loud at times. I mean, next time I'll have to remind myself to sit further back. ?The only thing I might suggest might be bad was the service. It's not like it was bad bad, but it was maybe just too relaxed for us. We knew what we were going to order, and had to wait. Then waited for asking about getting the check. Then waited for the chance to get the check. I'm not going to say anything super bad but the waitress was definitely taking care of multiple other things not just us. So maybe short staffed?I think the prices for the combo of 2 or 3 was rather silly (on both types). There is zero savings on getting two or three that way unless maybe you get the most expensive but even then no!I kinda thought a combo or multiple order for a single person would get some kind of discount. But according to the prices there basically is none. Oh well...We left here for Mr Wish but that was a mistake. Maybe we should have tried the desserts here. Maybe next time! Staff was friendly.Vegetarian options: They do offer vegetable rolls like sweet potato roll or avocado roll. Along with miso soup. You should be able to get something here (our friend did)Kid-friendliness: As with most city restaurants, it's a tight fit. If you think you children are well behaved it shouldn't be too much for them. But we had a bit of slow service and I think kids in general cannot wait that long for food etc.Parking: We decided to use a parking lot near here. Since it was at night the deal we got on a weekday was $24 for the rest of the night. We rolled around the block for a few times but couldn't find a good spot that wasn't aggressively taken from usWheelchair accessibility: Entrance is level, no second floor. Plus there are a mix of benches and chairs. So if needed they could take away the chair"

"we're here for the birthday dinner of my best friends. we often came here because the atmosphere is great and that was always good. unfortunately we will not be back again. everything is very expensive for the portion sizes they give them, and the service was extremely slow. we had the sunberry martini, which is in a small glass for $11. we ordered another and we waited almost 40 minutes when we decided to say our waitress to quit. our server did not stop at the hibatchi often so that we needed most of the time that needed to be able to get them. the last stray was when our food was cooked. we ordered the kabuto deluxe that comes with the three choices. we rarely ordered our steak medium and he literally put the food on our plate raw. I don't speak the pink color that gets medium rarely, literally raw. We asked him if we could have cooked our a little more and he tried to blame us that we had ordered medium. medium is a bright pink center, while medium rare is a deep pink, but still boiled. our steak had literally dark red meat, but only a little cooked pieces. when he put it on our teller, it was good. the lobster also tastes really fishy, so we didn't finish it. not to mention, the menu clearly states gratulation is added to parties of 6 or more. we had only 5 people, and the waitress accused a 15% tap on the bill without letting us know. I get it probably changed due to covid, but let her customers know! so unprofessional especially if the service was not good. I would have tipped right away, but I don't want the gratulation to be added without being informed or at least somewhere a sign? we loved this place, but we're going to go somewhere from now on."
