"Wife and I tried this place for the first (and last) time yesterday because we heard they were closing down due to another business opportunity. It's a shame we didn't try it sooner because it did not disappoint. Atmosphere was quiet and very relaxing. There were some Japanese lanterns and cherry blossoms as well as cherry blossoms painted all along the wall. Service was amazing. Very friendly staff who genuinely love their customers. We were checked on many times and each time our waitress brought something out to us, she would ask us how it was when she came out again. Menu had a good selection of Japanese dishes and a lot of sushi variants. We ordered a gyoza appetizer (5 pork-filled wonton-style dumplings) which we enjoyed. For entrees, I ordered the ton katsu (panko-breaded pork sliced up with served with fried rice and a fried egg) and my wife ordered the hibachi steak (served with hibachi veggies, fried rice, and 4 pieces of cucumber sushi roll). Everything was beyond our expectations. Some of the best Japanese food I have ever had. We got a bowl each of miso soup and house soup (brothy with green onion and mushroom) which were both great. We ordered fried ice cream for dessert and enjoyed it as well. If you see this review before they close on 8/29/2022, please go try them out! You will not regret it! I hope they have great success with any future endeavors and look forward to seeing what their next business opportunity is."
