"I ordered a chicken pot pie and a four-berry pie to celebrate National Pie Day, and both were fantastic! The pot pie was delicious and a nice departure from the homemade version I usually make. It wasn't necessarily better or worse—just truly enjoyable. The berry pie, on the other hand, was outstanding! I'm not typically a fan of crust, but this one was exceptional. It had a texture reminiscent of shortbread or a sugar cookie, but it wasn't overly sweet. The filling was simply perfect, packed with flavor. I couldn't get enough of it! Both pies were definitely worth the full price, and even better when on sale. I highly recommend this place as a must-visit destination!"

"My partner and I have been coming here for the past three years on Pi Day for our anniversary (Pieversary! and we have never been disappointed. Everything we've tried has been delicious, the staff has always been beyond helpful, and the atmosphere happy.We've tried various pies throughout the years, including the pot pies, and love em all (can't speak of the cakes, cookies, or cheesecake . ? Lobster. Pot. Pie, people!!! I appreciate that they have fruit juice sweetened pies, and even the cane sugar sweetened variety are not overly sweet. Cannoli pie is our winner for taste this year, but they're honestly all good.Thanks Achatz!"

"Visiting Caffe Ladro after work has been a pleasant experience. I find that in the early evenings, it is more quiet and laid back. That being said, it makes the it the perfect location for a person to study or write. They have Wi-Fi set up for customer use and this is helpful. The staff are friendly. I cannot comment on their coffee, as I am not a coffee drinker (crazy, I know), but I normally get a hot chocolate. That has been yummy and has the heart latte art. Also, the banana bread is great! Moist and not dry. Overall, I enjoy visiting and getting much research and writing done!"

"I always make a point to visit this coffee shop whenever I’m in town to see family. Typically, I grab a soy latte from Starbucks since it’s so ubiquitous. However, I find the soy latte from Café Ladro to be just as good, if not even smoother. I wish there were a Café Ladro on every corner! Everything people have said about the baristas here is spot on—they're friendly, kind, and genuinely care about what they do. No matter how famous a coffee brand might be, having dedicated employees who truly care about their work and their customers is invaluable. I’ll definitely continue the tradition of stopping by every chance I get. Keep up the great work, Ladro team!"

"Absolutely amazing cupcakes and cookies from Desserts by Sara. We were visiting from Tacoma, and stopped in for special treats after the park. I also picked up an Easter cookie decorating box kit. Let me tell you I haven't had sugar cookies this good in a long time. Not to mention, they sat in the box for 9 days,and the cookies and icing were crazy delicious still. I will definitely be back for more treats in the future."
