"I feel that this place is greatly underappreciated, especially considering how expensive dining out has become. Tropix is conveniently located between two of my regular work sites in Lincoln Park, right across from plenty of competition. I used to be a loyal customer of Gusto Latino (and still go there for different occasions), but Tropix offers a variety of affordable options with generous portions. Their sandwiches and breakfast items have saved me on numerous occasions when I was short on cash and wouldn’t be home for hours to cook. The staff here is always friendly and seems to genuinely enjoy their work. They accept both Apple Pay and Google Pay, which is a plus. I really hope they continue to thrive because they’re a little gem on the west side."
