"We encountered a reservation mix-up that we only realized upon entering our room. When we returned to the front desk for assistance, the attendant immediately started defending the decision to give us a different and smaller room rather than asking how he could help us. It was frustrating to feel that he knew about the issue all along and was merely waiting to see if we would notice. To make matters worse, since it was the weekend, no one was available to help us resolve the problem. Our stay was just a few nights, and despite paying a significant amount, we ended up with a room and bed that were much smaller than what we had originally booked. If someone had made an effort to assist us, even if a resolution wasn’t possible, I would have rated them higher."
