"Decent restaurant. Stopped in in the suggestion of a friend while in Old Forge. Had a good meal. Large helpings, reasonable price, and good service. The vibe is Adirondack all the way. I like the fact that they have outdoor seating, but didn’t like that it’s close enough to Rte. 28 that we heard a lot of traffic noise. It wasn’t as though we had to talk loudly to he heard, but for such a quiet spot the road nose wasn’t great. Our server was attentive and friendly. We shared the poutine. It was tasty and very large appetizer. It was ok for flavor, but not more than that. The meal we shared was pretty great. We had the Lake Effect sandwich. It’s brisket, pulled pork, bacon, and cheese on Texas Toast. It was delish! They also have a variety of sauces in the table I only tried their “sweet” and it was a tasty bbq sauce. All in all a good place. Worth a try if you’re in the area."
