"I?m writing this as a common review for both the Iselin and East Windsor Khasiyat locations, as everything is excellent and standard when it comes to the quality/taste of the food and the customer service. Haven of Parathas that?s how I?d like tocall this place. They have numbered their variety of parathas from 1 100 that you can literally play a game of closing youreyes, pointing your finger randomly over a point on the menu card and order that number of paratha. We usually order couple ofparathas and a chaat item whenever we visit a Khasiyat. Hands down, they have the best parathas in town. How could someoneconsistently make the best parathas when they have a large array of choices to pick from?! They are business smart andenvironment friendly when it comes to the plates and cups they use. They don?t give your dishes in porcelain or plastic but theyuse hard paper/wood material that?s easy for them to dispose. But the downside is the size of those plates or cups. You have avery small circumference to work through your hands on the dishes and it?s not an ideal experience when you eat. I?m not sure ifthis will reach the business for them to consider and improve but this is the reason I rate this place a star lesser."

"it was Sunday and a long line to wait. first they have to order the food, then find a table, then they tell them their order number. I asked for the talli without milk, but that was not; an option. Instead, I had to order separate Vegi dishes and it made it pricy. the place was loud, kids run and scream, costumes that look into their plate to see how fast they eat so they can have their space. I'd ignore all this if it was good to eat. it was not so delicious that tasted all gobi, because the cauliflower is not so fresh. everything floated in oil, and it wasn't so much to eat. it is self-service and there is a man who cleanse the tables after leaving. I'm not coming back! there are other good Indian restaurants right next door."

"My fiancé and I were craving Indian food so we decided to try this place out. We placed a pick up order over the phone and they said it would take about 30 minutes. Upon entering, the aroma of delicious spices filled the air. The staff were friendly and gave us our order right away. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, lentils, veggie samosas, garlic naan, and rice. The chicken tikka masala was very flavorful and they did not skimp on the chicken which I liked. The lentils were delicious. Veggie samosas were crispy and had a ton of potato filling on the inside. It had a nice kick to it as well. The garlic naan was so good. It had a lot of garlic on top. Overall, I enjoyed it!"

"One of my favorite spots on Devon for snacks and sweets is definitely King Sweets. I've been enjoying their aloo samosas and sweets since I was a child, thanks to my Pakistani parents. Now at 23, I can say that these treats were a staple during Ramadan and Eid celebrations every year. There's simply nowhere else that matches the quality of their sweets and samosas; they set the standard! I recently tried their Halwa Puri, and it was delicious as well. With so many long-standing businesses shutting down on Devon, it truly warms my heart to see King Sweets still thriving. I hope they continue to prosper so that my future children can also enjoy their offerings. I’m sharing a photo of my father and my little 5 or 6-year-old self getting sweets from King Sweets to share with our relatives for Eid in the early 2000s! (I remember the owner even gave us some extra packaging free of charge back then!)"

"We had taken our friends here for a Saturday brunch. We ordered a few different types of paranthas, paneer vegetable, mixed vegetable and dal along with some starters. I also ordered a buttermilk. The paranthas were good. But the buttermilk came at the end of the meal when we were all done with the food. I had specifically mentioned that we would like to start with the buttermilk. Moreover the buttermilk tasted weird. When I asked them to not charge us for the buttermilk, the person just made a face and charged us anyway. I was disappointed with the customer service."

"I generally don't write bad reviews, I was very unsatisfied with the food today, my daughter wanted to eat gobi Manchurian, I was skeptical to order here, just gave it a chance but was more than disappointed, it was over powered with ketchup and veryspicy it was 9.99$ put to trash ????, I just requested if he can cancel the samosa order and replace with bhel Puri, even thatwas not honored he said samosas were already done... "Pickle I got at this place went rotten in 3 weeks. Every Indian knows, usually any pickle stays well for at least one year. I would rather prefer the Indian food truck nearby with amazing food. Woman at the counter made it clear that they don’t want anyone’s business.Owner’s “daughter” was at the counter told me to, I don’t need to buy anything here because I asked questions. Of course I will make my own pickle than buying here.I wanted Pickle and usually get it from here. They usually add dried peas and Kabuli chana so I called in to inquire spoke with some woman. Decided I would but it and went to the restaurant.The same woman, supposedly owner’s grown “daughter” was at the counter. So very rude and nasty person. Their pickle was in refrigerator which is odd because it can stay out in Indian temperatures for months so what’s happening here. As a customer I’ve right to ask questions but she got offended. I wonder why?! Could there anything wrong with the food or storage?!If I were you, I would not buy if she’s at the counter."

"I ordered lunch from this joint today. When the food was delivered, it was fresh and tasted so much better than other Indian joints where I had food. It was real. Later in the evening I decided to go to the restaurant and taste more new dishes for dinner and it was such a pleasant experience. We ate not only there, but also have more food packed to go. Not only the food was great, but also the service was excellent. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner I can say is a warm and friendly lady. I will definitely come back for more."

"Indian food is one of my favorite kitchens, so I always like to check out new spots, this was awhile on my radar. The staff was super nice and the cashier had some great recommendations. It's a classic cafeteria restaurant. The prices were not bad either! With so much of this definitely helped. I recommend trying Paratha with any order, for only 2$ these breads are so delicious and fill. Edit: had to come back! This time I got Aloo Chole, Dal Makhani and again the Pani Puri, as it was my favorite The Dal Makhani was not the greatest, you can definitely find better out there or even make a great pot at home. It wasn't just a little bland and lifeless. I got the Pani Puri back as it was sooo good and a good part! This time the part was not that big, but with the price I wasn't crazy, it hit the place. And lastly the Aloo Chole was the best!! It was a massive portion size for $4.50 and so fill. New photos and receipts added! Updated by previous review on 2021-11-12"

"This is the BEST Indian food at a super reasonable price in San Diego. It’s a hole in the wall and as other reviews state the service is isn’t the most notable, but in this case I don’t even mind because the food is well worth it and then some. I’ve been with my roommate, friends and family a combined dozens of times. Get the lunch or dinner combos, you’re missing out if you don’t try the chicken makhani (butter chicken) we can’t help but get it every time now that we’ve tried everything. The meat falls apart in your plate and in your mouth, I’ve tried so many other Indian places where their meat is dry and gets stuck being chewed in your mouth, not Punjabi Tandoor. I haven’t even mentioned their amazing chewy stretchy naan and the yummy rice pudding desert cup that are both included with the lunch/dinner combo meals. If you haven’t tried this place yet go immediately, and if you haven’t yet, then get the chicken makhani in your lunch or dinner combo!"

"We had been to Chaat Bhavan, Dublin yesterday. It was pretty late in the evening. The service was fantastic, and the food was even better. Mr Anmol, who took our order, was just great. He not only helped us make the right selection but was also quick and efficient. He took that extra measure to explain the menu of the day and was very courteous. We could observe that he was not just warm towards us but was similar to many other customers in helping with selections.The food was very tasty, fresh, and hot.
