"We went to Casa Maya today hoping to eat lunch. My husband has type 1 diabetes and his blood sugar was a little low when we got there. So, after waiting 20 minutes to be seated I asked if we could seat ourselves. They seemed short staffed. The worker said no.After waiting an additional 20 minutes we were seated. When we were seated I asked if a certain food would be ready sooner than another. My husbands blood sugar monitor was beeping and he needed some food.Twenty minutes later they had served everyone that was behind us in line. They had chips, salsa, drinks and some even had lunch. I asked the waiter if we could please get chips salsa and drinks. He never returned.I am so so furious!!! My husband has diabetes and you seriously didn’t even come to our table after I nicely asked for service multiple times!!! We left after an hour. I had to get him a candy bar to bring his blood sugar up which is just unacceptable.I just can’t believe how bad our service was."
