"The first customer had their order taken, but then the cashier informed the next person that they would need to wait three more minutes to place their order because they were spacing out the orders for the kitchen. When it was finally my turn after what felt like an eternity, I asked the cashier if she could expedite my order so that I could join my friend. After waiting for 20 minutes, she told me they couldn't do that. I mentioned that I was okay with waiting longer for my food, but the response was essentially, "This is just how we operate."
I then requested to speak to a manager, but an assistant manager came over and was even less helpful. When I inquired about the lack of customer service, she simply said, "Sorry!" which only made me feel more disregarded. I was truly appalled by the customer service. The only redeeming part of the experience was Pablo, who made us feel valued once I was finally seated with my friend.
I won’t be returning to this location and will instead head to the downtown cafe, where their system seems to function much better. Nordstrom needs to reassess this approach, as they’ve lost a customer, and I doubt I’ll be the last one."
