"We tried to eat dinner tonight, Friday, driving up at 7:54. The sign posted at the door says open until 8:30 and the neon “open” sign was lit. Our family of five began to unload from our vehicle just as a middle-aged man ran to the front, turned off the light and LITERALLY shooed us away without saying a word. Because we are locals, have eaten here many times AND our oldest child requested to celebrate her birthday there tonight (didn’t want to drive to Sonora or anywhere else), I went inside to ask if there was some confusion on our behalf because I was simply shocked. Nope. The cook/owner shook his head smiling and said they were “out of food.” Right. His wife tried to have us stay, but I assure you, we will NEVER eat here again. Shameful."
