"We have been dining at Essence of China for many years, and we have never been let down. The family that runs the restaurant is incredibly friendly. While the interior is fairly simple, we typically opt for takeout. The prices are very reasonable considering the generous portions, especially with the family dinner options. The quality of the food is significantly better than that of most Chinese restaurants. Our relatives in Portland always ask us to bring them dishes from Essence of China."
