"I ordered the spicy red curry with beef, and it was filled mainly with bamboo shoots—about 75% of it—with barely any meat. The beef was tough and rubbery, and the curry itself didn’t resemble red curry at all; it was yellow and extremely watered down. It lacked the creamy, rich flavors you’d expect, coming across as bland and watery.
My wife and sister both ordered pad see ew, and unfortunately, both meals ended up in the trash. We spent $48 on food we couldn’t even bring ourselves to eat. I tried to finish the curry because I dislike wasting food, but all I found was white rice, an overly thin and watery curry, and chewy beef. In the end, neither of us could eat it, and as I write this, my wife has gone out to find something else to eat.
As a Puerto Rican, I can confidently say I can make a better pad see ew than what we had here. Whether the food was rushed, leftover from the day before, or perhaps they’ve changed cooks or recipes since receiving those five-star reviews, I can only say that anyone who gave this place five stars clearly hasn’t experienced truly good food."
