"Living in Dallas, Texas, certainly has its advantages! Our family loves to explore new cultural experiences—such as visiting grocery stores and food events—to broaden our understanding of the world. Recently, we embarked on a delightful adventure at Sarah's Market, where we also enjoyed lunch at their S Grill. Although the market is quite small, every corner of it is special. We made our way to a cozy little countertop in the back, which only has four chairs. This spot overlooks an open-top grill, allowing us to watch the chefs in action as they prepared our food. The menu was limited and on the pricey side—we decided to order a steak kabob for $26. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, juicy and flavorful, served atop a long grain that resembled rice pasta and seasoned with a unique blend we had never experienced before. It came accompanied by roasted tomatoes and purple onion. We chose hummus as our side, and the portion was generous enough for two people. The chef was thrilled to have us and truly appreciated our eagerness to learn about their cooking. He treated us to several generous samples of the sides and sauces they offer. Everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients sourced from their grocery store, which made for an exceptional dining experience! The bakery section of the market featured a small glass display case filled with an array of sweets, including macaroons, cheesecake, and baklava. Many of these treats were new to us, and after sampling a few from the pastry chef, we couldn’t resist buying several to take home! Before we left, we took a leisurely stroll through the grocery section and picked up a few items we already loved, now with the added benefit of being made in-house, like their fresh pita bread. You can truly see, smell, and taste the quality difference. I wholeheartedly give Sarah's Market a five-star review for its authenticity, warm hospitality, and delicious fresh food. If you're in the area, be sure to try the grilled kabobs—you won’t regret it!"
