"First of all, my pickup order was incorrect, and I didn't realize it until I got home, which is a 30-minute drive. When I called to report the issue, I was assured that I would receive a credit for my meal, which was a relief. However, when I returned a week later, I was informed that there was no record of my call or the promised credit. When I refused to pay for a replacement meal, I was accused of attempting to steal it, which was surprising.
I then showed my bank statement as proof of the transaction date, only to be dismissed with the remark that "people do that all the time to try and get free food." I was also told to lower my voice and stop yelling, even though my tone had not changed and my voice was never raised.
As a young Black man, this experience felt particularly disheartening. I would advise anyone, especially those of color, to think twice before visiting this establishment."
